I don't trust god one iota. Think about it, why did he choose to put us on a planet where there is UV light, earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, tsumanis, countries that historically cannot get along, on and on? Does anyone actually have any proof that a "heaven" exists? We have to accept an extreme life to be worthy of god's love? Is god a narcissists? Have you ever met a narcissist in real life? Sickening.

That is a hard problem. The classic book The Problem of Pain is a quality attempt at addressing it but TBH when we're going through tough times that feels like an academic exercise rather than comfort. Pray and even challenge God to show that He is real and tell Him that you need His real help.

With that being said, before I address some of those comments. Be Welcome!!! I hope that in you being here, that you will be disabused of certain things, and become aware of one thing and that is that God actually Loves you! Sometimes its hard to figure when we put the blame on him for how our lives are going, with Him in the drivers seat!

Anyway, I hope you will have your heart softened, eyes opened, and your mind provided with clarity at least in part to how awesome He really is. Again, be welcomed in the name of Jesus Christ.

Your reality and my reality of the lord are different. I know one thing, the lord arranges things in such a way that they are difficult to explain. His ways are very nuanced and clandestine. I have also found that there is no such thing as a coincidence and he knows what you are going to think at any precise time as he matches things up in coincidence. I don't believe in "Satan" so that only leaves the almighty one.

So, do you believe in God? If so, which one? Christian one, Muslim one, Buddha, and the list goes on and on.
We can talk about Satan later, because not all of them believe in that one either!

yin and yang, god and the devil are just the frame work of the person pulling the levers. Whatever it is.

It goes back to the above on which God you believe in. (shrug)

Do you live in a monastery? Most of us have to eat, heat and cool our houses unwind from the stresses of life, especially the ones god imposes on us. We need transportation, we have electric bills, car insurance, pay rent or mortgages, health insurance the list goes on and on. Be realistic.

Actually most people in the world would only wish they had those type of problems! So, many don't have enough food to eat, much less homes with a table to put their feet under!

With some of them, I'd agree. However, not with mine Mr/Ms. Planet. It doesn't mean that one doesn't experience those things in life, just He's given us an understanding to see where its coming from, and that one day through His Son Jesus, that it too will pass away. Much joy in Him to look forward to in Heaven. But then again, you have to believe, and have faith. Which in these days is in short supply for most.

I think "god\angels" live in an abstracted form we obviously cannot fathom. I also believe we live in an abstract AI network of "angels or helpers" or something like that. How can something possibly be everywhere at once? I think we are here for entertainment purposes. I think "god" likes to see how we think, how tolerant we can be, how he is worshiped. I think he constantly measures us.

If you could say how you came about that determination of there being a god much less one god, and that it has emotion towards its creations much less to be worshiped I'd be interested to know.

God came knocking on my door several years ago and said, I never liked you from the day you were born and since you didn't like how my church smelled or took my sermons serious, I'm a little late but here I am. Remember how you wanted this and you wanted that and could not get it, that was me and whatever you worked your a** of for, I made sure the experience was of low quality.

I could be wrong and it was the other guy "satan", but I believe god is complicit.

How do you know it was either one? Though if you were to ask me which one, I'd lean towards Satan or one of his minions as being the culprit. However, I'd want to know if at the time of this event, if anything was happening in your life be it negative or positive? It could be travel, a move, new personal entanglements, book you were reading, new game, etc. It could even be an occult experience, maybe even New Age delving. I say this because not knowing your age, and the rest of the things of your life, what could have been a motivating factor besides, Higher Being bored lets go mess with Planet2146 for a while. (shrug)

Anyway, when you say god came knocking at your door, I am assuming it was a voice in your mind, not an external auditory origin that you experienced?

On the rest of what was "said" to you, again I assume it has historical relevance to some experiences you have had in your life, and could recall having at different periods?

Was there something overly specific that you have not mentioned above, and has it happened to you again, since then?

Which leads me to also ask if there was anything special happening in your life at the time, be it positive or negative in nature?

Sorry, for all the questions. Not that I'm doubting your words, or sanity for that matter, but knowing more of the occurrence is better in my own mind, in order to determine if possible, the origins of what happened and maybe why. Abbas is perfect He would not speak ill against Himself.. calling Himself late is out of His ways..seems ya got an imp attached to you tho..
I had one of them had one almost convince me it was ok that i was gonna go to the highway n just go wait in the center lane..that imp used the verses from scripture.. most people fail to realize that satan n his followers spent time with the Word Himself before ye was hurdled from the heavens...them Synagogues of satan that many claim a church has kept people spiritually immature and a immature tree can not produce fruit..
One must develop a personal relationship with the Lord n most of them Synagogues (churches) wont even bring that up..Most just want your money they feed themselves and allow their sheep that have been entrusted to the be led into sin because of their own ignorance and the leaders greed .. anywho

I used to work my a** off. In the STEM field it's not about money it's about the clout of being smarter than all the smart people around you. Pride is high on the list of what God hates the most.

My morning bible study happened to be in LK 12 which includes.

(20) But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? (21) So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

Regardless of which spirit contacted you it did you a great favor. It's up to you to take advantage of this setback to become rich toward God before your soul shall be required of you.
