It's a very emotional series, especially with all the "artistic license" taken to fill in the blanks in the Holy Bible (which everyone should read). What I like the most about "The Chosen" series are the testimonies of those who now believe in the redeeming love of Jesus Christ our LORD and Savior. Those mos-def make me cry.
Just remember the series is Angel Studios' version of what happened. ️

Yes as with all church denominations and interpretations that is what will happen when individuals have their own take on it. But the truth, it is fantastic how it shows/gives a take how it really was, is. It makes it real. More real than most I have seen. What a great guy HE is

oh for sure! I can't tell you how many times The Chosen amped up what I thought was my conviction haha. There was one particular scene with the Holy Mother Mary character that just about broke me to this very moment. I mean... it still means a lot to me. And there was no audible dialogue in the scene either, where she reaches out to a homeless man. I was like, "Yeah that right there! That's exactly how it was for me!" (Cue crying like a little boy, fade to black, end scene. And Cut )
It really is a well made interpretation of the Holy Bible. The Old Testament flashbacks are pretty cool. Moses
Oh, and the actor playing as Saint John the Baptist lol

Moses is pretty cool. He must've been.
It show Marys and Jesus relationship and how he listens to her. Who cannot love jesus. He's fantastic. And how happy he is when they believe. And how he cried hearing the children pray.
