Thoughts on Job

we know that we will face trials and tribulations from the world we do not know why sometimes these things happen. These things will cause suffering is my understanding.

Now when we go through these trails and tribulations we can have piece the abundant life in our Heart, because we know we have Jesus in our heart.

the bible tells we will have trials and tribulations, I am not aware that is says why for every account of trials we encounter, but it does say we can have piece and even Joy through these trials when we have Christ in our hearts because we know the big picture and are only being made stronger in our faith by going through trials and tribulations. Just like Paul was in joy and signing when he was in Jail

I do know that you love me Dave...and I thank you for it..... How do I explain the suffering in the world...

I don't like to give single verses but this one can stand alone....

Hey Dave...I do know you love me as a brother and I appreciate it....I don't like to give single verses because most single verses end up being out of context....But this one can stand alone...John 10:10 (CJB)

The thief, the destroyer is the one doing it. Poverty and suffering do NOT engender Godliness as many Christians believe...poverty and suffering engender hopelessness, and despair. If one is hopless, and despairing one does not see the opportunity offered by our Jesus. He only sees his situation, and a future of more ending in death. There is the who, and the why of all that suffering, in a nutshell.
The thing is....We have dominion in the Earth, not Satan the destroyer. If there is all this suffering in the Earth its mainly because WE are not doing our Job. We are not shutting down this nasty character and putting him in his place. We are letting him run over so many people destroying lives.

LOL Of course we know why we have tribulation and trials....Satan is trying to prevent his head from getting crushed by the bride of Christ

I am trying to apply this to the suffering of third world countries having a hard time doing that. For instance the little girl that lives in a village that has no water has no chance of a life at all, there is no work, and is thrown on the street by her mother because they cant afford to feed her, how does that apply here. Because this happens every day,

the way I am reading you is that it is the little girl fault she opened the door for satan, but I doubt you think that so what am I missing??

Hi Brother Dave,
I know this was written to @Bendito but I would like to add a couple of things.

Jesus told us in this world we would have trials and tribulations.
This means every one, saved and lost. No one can escape this because of the curse in this world and the world being under the influence of satan, god of this world.

This Joy and Peace we as believers can have is a choice. Its up to us and not God if we will walk in it.

satan is always trying and testing our faith. he wants to kill, steel and destroy it.

When God test our Faith, He does not harm us or our families.
None of us have faced a testing such as Abraham with Isaac but notice Isaac was not harmed.

Ever have a kid in school do something to you and then point to some one else as if they did it?
Well satan has the church believing the same way. he does things then points to God with cherry picked scriptures out of context.
So Christians accept things saying its Gods doing and satan is left alone and keeps on.

If you find Job a sinner, show me in the Word. You are declaring that Job is sinning by walking in fear. God is not. God has said he is perfect. God has said Job speaks rightly things concerning Him. Yet you want to present Job as a sinner walking in fear.

Just because Job was concerned and feared things does not mean he wasn't walking in faith. How ludicrous. Just like courage is not the absence of fear, faith is not the absence of fear.

You are ignoring what God has said and trying to project your mistaken theology on Scripture.

I showed you already that God is just like that. (Is. 10:5-7). But, you ignore that too because it goes against what you want to believe. But it is not against what Scripture says and it is not against how God is.

The book of (Job) supports just that in (Job 1:8). But of course, again, you don't want to believe it, so just ignore it. Well, here is some more Scripture in the book of (Job) that you can ignore. (Job 42:11) "Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters,....and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him:..." Note it did not say all the evil that satan brought upon him.

But, that should be no problem with you. Just ignore it. God can't be like that. You have a fixed image of God and you try and make Scripture fit that image instead of being willing to believe what Scripture says.

Well, it's not a blessing when you're going through it as Job did. It is suffering. It is directed by God for His purpose. I understand what you are saying but you don't go up to someone who has just gone through it and say what a blessing that is. They will be the better for it, and it served it's purpose for God, but it hurts.

Fear is of the enemy the devil.
Fear and Faith can not be in the same house

Fear Not is a command

Oh come on. Even job thought it was God for awhile but he learned different.

Job thought it was God, because it was God. Where did it say he learned different? His brothers and sisters knew it was of God also as Scripture records in (42:11).

I guess God was mistaken also when He said Job spoke rightly of God. (42:7)

Satan is working in the third world to keep people in despair for the purpose of keeping them from turning their lives to Jesus....The little girl did not sin, but sin does open the door to Satan's devastation. The sins of the fathers are visited

I did NOT say Job was a sinner...I said he sinned. ONCE. No doubt he did other times but the Book doesn't talk about that. Why? It's not our story, it's Job's.... I'm talking about a single event in Job's life. Why are you fighting the facts? Look at the first chapter of Job again, and read it this time. Your arguments get less and less sensible each time you say something.

Yes you did. In post # (98). It is sin to walk in fear is what you said.

Indeed, the Book only tells us that Job was perfect, and upright, and one who feared God. You are the one who doesn't want to believe it. I am not fighting facts. You have been fighting Scripture and are now seeing you haven't a leg to stand on.

You are the one who is translating "Perfect" as sinless. I thought we dealt with that yesterday. I don't have a leg to stand on? How about the Word? I stand on that! You're the one that is spouting Chruchianity doctrines and getting it wrong. But I'll tell you....rather than ripping your hair out trying to convince me of fictional scenarios...We could agree to disagree. I can see I'll never convince you of the Word.
