This is the last time I will reply in defense of what the Gospel actually teaches. You claim Jesus was fully deity and man. Please explain why then did Paul wrote that Jesus was Man rather than God-Man in his letter to Timothy?
For there is one God, and one mediator also between God and men,
the MAN Christ Jesus (
1 Timothy 2:5)
Why did Paul not teach that Jesus was both fully deity and fully man? If what you said is true, that verse should then be changed to God-Man but clearly it says the MAN Christ Jesus, which means Jesus was only flesh when He came in the flesh.
Even in Acts, the apostle Peter spoke to the masses, calling Jesus a MAN rather than God-Man. Not one apostle taught that Jesus was both deity and human.
“Men of Israel, hear these words:
Jesus of Nazareth, a MAN attested by God to you by miracles, wonders, and signs which God did through Him in your midst, as you yourselves also know” (Acts 2:22 New King James)
Fellow Israelites, listen to this:
Jesus of Nazareth was a MAN accredited by God to you by miracles, wonders and signs, which God did among you through him, as you yourselves know. (Acts 2:22 NIV)
Men of Israel, hear these words:
Jesus of Nazareth, a MAN attested to you by God with mighty works and wonders and signs that God did through him in your midst, as you yourselves know— (Acts 2:22 ESV)
Men of Israel, listen to these words:
Jesus the Nazarene, a MAN attested to you by God with miracles and wonders and signs which God performed through Him in your midst, just as you yourselves know--
(Acts 2:22 NET Bible)
Fellow Israelis, listen to these words:
Jesus from Nazareth was a MAN authenticated to you by God through miracles, wonders, and signs that God performed through him among you, as you yourselves know. (Acts 2:22 ISV)
Will you now deny what the Gospel plainly writes in order to support a false teaching?
I don’t see why this refute of false teachings has any bearing on where I live. I am a Chinese whether you want to believe it or not.
