Well we are not discussing Revelation here not until everyone has finish reading it, then any one can post any where they please concerning this Read. That was the plan.

No, no! We always comment on the read. Because the strong debates will come, the strong debates by others will distract us from the read, wouldn’t you say! We will be debating things we have not even read, lol! And so will they be! Right. We always comment on the read.

We will be debating things we have not even read, lol! And so will they and they are not reading the book. Right. We always comment on the read. Because every “Left Behind” Reader in the “universe” will be making statements before chapter 10. LoL we comment always until the end of the read. I am making a few notes: my self. Like I see why a lot of Christian do not want to read this book! Especially when it mentions “The Wrath of the Lamb”!

What about the comments you and I were exchanging on the other thread. Re: the 7 churches.

Well -- it Did get drifted into, but apparently will only continue with here and now.

And, yes, Revelation Is a very complex book.

Maybe a suggestion -- if we could talk about the 7 churches of Asia section 1st and then read sections at a time. That's a natural division in the book. Just a thought.

That is another beast, by itself, maybe we can make that our 1st. Address, because the approach, has A “Type and Shadow” view and similarities of a “Biblical Motif”. And of course the Destruction of those cities the letters was address to and sent to in Asia Minor, by Apostle John. And remember there were no such thing as a “church” building back then neither did they use the word church! Nor did Apostle John! He said “congregation”. That is a complete study by it’s self! And should be dealt with by itself. You have to deal with “Archaeology”, Bibliography, and “geography” you have look into the cities in which the letters was address too, anything after that is all “speculations”. But most of the rest of “The Revelation of Jesus Christ” is back up by the OT text. So to fully gasp The Book of Revelation you have to see it also in the Old Testament too! Then the pieces are put together by the Holy Spirit plainly. 7 churches of Asia are not in the Old Testament.

Almost sounds like you're making 'this' into a much more complicated study than it really needs to be. Seems like you're trying to put 'this' on a college or even seminary-level study.

I'm using NKJ -- John is addressing the seven churches in Asia.

Maybe I should sit back in the background for now.

I just finish reading 7-10 in “Revelation” keep reminding, yourself The Unveiling of “Jesus Christ” keep your eyes on “The Son of God” through out the read. Who is in control and controlling everything, that is taking place!

here is a motivation “snap Shot”, for those who have “eyes to see”
(2 Kings 22)
10Then Shaphan the secretary informed the king, “Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.” And Shaphan read from it in the presence of the king.

11When the king heard the words of the Book of the Law, he tore his robes. 12He gave these orders to Hilkiah the priest, Ahikam son of Shaphan, Akbor son of Micaiah, Shaphan the secretary and Asaiah the king’s attendant: 13“Go and inquire of the Lord for me and for the people and for all Judah about what is written in this book that has been found.
Just take a short break and read the whole chapter of (2 kings 22). “Kings Josiah” takes less than 2 mins.:innocent:

Well -- as 'we' are reading -- you said to take notes so as to talk about what has been read.

The 2 Kings 22 portion was when the Book of the Law was discovered and presented to the King and he was very concerned that the people had not been obeying the law but had been obeying the 'gods' of the land instead of Me -- the Lord God.

Okay -- chapters 7 - 10 --- beginning of 4 angels and the 144,000 and their being sealed on their forehead -- vs 14 explains who the multitudes of people from all over are -- "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb."

There have already been 6 seals because ch 8 the 7th seal is being opened. And there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And then seven trumpets were blown by 7 angels and various things happened after each trumpet sounded.
One of those things was hail and fire coming down from heaven mingled with blood and a third of the trees and all green grass was burned up. With each trumpet various other major things happened. And then the 1st of the 'woe's start.

All of That is in one chapter. Chapter 10 is about the 7th angel and a little book is being talked about.

The “Unveiling of Jesus Christ” in Chapter 10. Is “RICH” I mean “RICH” thick oil! So much! When you get there, just let it run deep! You are going to have to come up for air!!! Let the Spirit of the Living God” show you, you don’t need a teacher, the teacher is in You! Just read the book!

I got kinda carried away this morning read chapter 10 over and over a couple of times, then the 1st thing I knew by 1:00 pm I was finishing chapter 20. So this evening I went back to chapter 10 and now reading over again, because I didn’t take notes. I’m going try this again. LOL, I got lost into it.

Sometimes there are little things that stick out in Revelation that make you ponder, the plain things, just like the (2 kings 22). I know the women like the kings section.

I'm confused with this board on reading Revelation and how discourse is to be enacted....I have been reading KJV on Revelation. Stuck on Chapters 6,7 & 8 in regards to wrapping my mind on the timing of the Seals and Trumpets! And the mention of God's Wrath in ch. 6. Seems they may overlap?

Excellent, you see it! Don’t be confused, alarmed it will come together. You are doing good. By your comments! You know how sometimes things come to you, and you don’t even be thinking about it then BAM! Oh that’s is what that means! So is the Spirit “revealing”.
