May I tell you truly, You who’re so unruly, Life is to be measured By Him who’s to be treasured. God, who is The Righteous, Is a God of justice. He declared His wisdom Through those who had His vision. They foretold the future, Of nations in a stupor, Of times like that of Noah, Of people in...

“You, O Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, Awake to punish all the nations; Do not be gracious to any who are treacherous in iniquity. Selah. They return at evening, they howl like a dog, And go around the city. Behold, they belch forth with their mouth; Swords are in their lips, For, they...

“Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children; and walk in love, just as Christ also loved you and gave Himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God as a fragrant aroma. “But immorality or any impurity or greed must not even be named among you, as is proper among saints; and...

“Listen, O heavens, and hear, O earth; For the Lord speaks, ‘Sons I have reared and brought up, But they have revolted against Me.’” “Alas, sinful nation, People weighed down with iniquity, Offspring of evildoers, Sons who act corruptly! They have abandoned the Lord, They have despised the Holy...

A Prayer of Moses, the man of God. “For we have been consumed by Your anger And by Your wrath we have been dismayed. You have placed our iniquities before You, Our secret sins in the light of Your presence. For all our days have declined in Your fury; We have finished our years like a sigh. As...

“However at that time, when you did not know God, you were slaves to those which by nature are no gods. But now that you have come to know God, or rather to be known by God, how is it that you turn back again to the weak and worthless elemental things, to which you desire to be enslaved all over...

“And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: The One who has the sharp two-edged sword says this: ‘I know where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is; and you hold fast My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed among you, where...

“My soul is crushed with longing After Your ordinances at all times. You rebuke the arrogant, the cursed, Who wander from Your commandments. Take away reproach and contempt from me, For I observe Your testimonies. Even though princes sit and talk against me, Your servant meditates on Your...

“You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery’; but I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye makes you stumble, tear it out and throw it from you; for it is better for you to lose...

There were some present at that very time who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And he answered them, Jesus said: “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this way? No, I tell...

We who believe in Jesus Christ are to be those who are living godly and morally pure and upright lives to God in obedience to his commands, who are no longer living to please the passions of our sinful flesh. So we should not be at war with one another based on the passions of the sinful flesh...

Solomon, and all who assisted him, had just completed the building of the Temple of God (Old Testament). And then the Lord spoke to him, and he told him that if he (God) brought on his people a number of disastrous events, if his people, who were called by his name, would humble themselves, and...

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes...

The Situation When Jesus Christ gave his life up for us on that cross, to deliver us out of our slavery to sin, so that we can now serve God in walks of obedience to his commands, in holy living, he made Jew and Gentile into one people, one nation by faith in Jesus Christ, which had been...

“Therefore, my beloved, flee from idolatry. I speak as to sensible people; judge for yourselves what I say. The cup of blessing that we bless, is it not a participation in the blood of Christ? The bread that we break, is it not a participation in the body of Christ? Because there is one bread...
