the thing is this and i truly do not say this to offend any .
flesh does NOT like to believe that God will try it, test it, travail it, so the pre trib rapture idea is catchy and soft and warm, however nothing but flesh pleasing.
i use to also believe in it, because i was not well studied and when i did study it i could only see what i had learned from others about it and i wanted also to hold onto it for a time the way many do.
however the more and more i read the word the more God began to put scriptures together for me and show me the problems with this doctorine which are many.
the thing is, over and over and over again in scripture God has put HIS people through tribulation to make them fully seperate from the world, to hate the world who His people have been fornicating with, to put them in a postion to have to learn to walk by faith in ONLY Him without being able to run to the world.
Each time it is GOD who sends a beast kingdom after HIS people and tribulation never happens except for those reasons in the word of God.
God has given us His entire word to show us by example after example how HE does things and why He does them and what happens from what He does, and we do see multiple examples of Him putting His people in tribulation however we do not see Him rapturing His people ( or just his faithful people) just before a tribulation.
We have Enoch who was taken to heaven- He did not get taken to avoid a tribulation
We have Elijah who was taken to heaven- and this did not happen to get him out of a comming tribulation and he entured many shadows of the real tribulation period before being taken.
Lot was delievered out of sodom, but not raptured and that was only an example of wrath not of tribulation which are seperate things.
Each time a tribulation was comming however, the Lord used the singular people who were truly faithful and had already been well tried, to lead the rest of His people, into tribulation and during tribulation to teach them how to endure.
If believers(all beleivers) werent gonna be here in the tribulation then there would never be a tribulation.
and we see in revelation that everything after chapter4 is future from when it was written, so if there is no beleivers, who is the woman who go into the wilderness after baring the manchild in rev 12, where do their children come from, and the saints, and the witnessess and those who dont take the mark of the beast?
pre tribbers would have us believe that they are all saved or get serious after the rapture, with 1) no Holy Spirit to teach them, conform them, give them power to walk in Christ and 2) no other believers here to teach them since God cant and 3) they are gonna be doing miralces like stopping the rain and such without the Holy Spirit !
people think it would be terrible to believe there is no pre tribulation rapture, and they may have to actually endure for Christ, and live to depend totaly on God in that time, but i found very suprisingly when God taught me differnt, that it was a real blessing and opened up His whole word to be understood in truth.
