The only time we should evangelise faster Ben, is, if the Spirit calls us to do so. I will build my church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it. The Lord builds, we are just the labourers the Lord uses to do it. We should never act without being moved to do so, or we may end up getting in his way.

Yes, I agree with you, but that is in specific situations when the Holy Spirit asks you to withhold the Gospel for reasons He knows best. Nevertheless, I believe that the commandment to go forth into the world and evangelize has already been given by our Master (Matt.28:18-20). Therefore, unless there is a specific reasons the Holy Spirit asks you to withhold your witness for the Lord (which, in most cases, would be for a reason and for only a period of time) it must be witnessing all the way for the Lord. In my years of being a Christian and witnessing, many believers I know, such as those in the white collar professions, have not been able to witness, forwarding the excuse that their busy schedules would not allow them go out. This is not a good excuse by any consideration. They can witness to their colleagues, clients, their neighbors et alia. Uhh! Christians have a too many misconceptions about witnessing. I believe evangelism is God's heartbeat for the present hour!!!
