OK, so I didn't really adopt a little girl... I'm only 19. But I am sponsoring a child on World Vision and I love her like crazy!

Anyway, I'm a 19 year old college student and paying the monthly amount will be a bit tight for me. So I'm praying that God will give me the financial ability to help this little girl and her mom every month.

And also, of course, please pray for my little girl and her mom. They live in Columbia and her name is Nicol.

Thanks!

Wow, that's really very sweet and very unselfish of you, I mean a lot of people do it and it's good but like that story in the Bible says, they do it because they have leftover money, but you're giving out money that you need, I really applaud you and this little girl is blessed :)

I'll be praying for you and Nicol and her mother.

Be blessed

Sister Nicole,I remember as our house church was just starting out,the pastor and his wife did as you are doing,we the members about 12 at that time, were asked to share in this love, and were promised to reap what we indeed sow.

At first being so young in the Lord I thought this was a way to recieve money from us College Students. I talked to the brother in the Lord who Jesus used in saving me,and gave him my thoughts on this. My answer? simple. You give what you want when you want, the difference now,is that Holy Spirit in you will also tell you if you listen to him. humm

The pastor and his wife were very nice people as well as being believers,I wanted to show God,that I to am a giver not a taker, this was all I had in mind when I gave as well to this cause! In two weeks time our Church grew to 20,then to 30,needs in our Church were being met as well!!

Someones car broke down, and they could not fix it,a brother in the Lord had 2 and just gave one to him,a women had her washer break down,a couple spent the money to buy her a brand new one! Love does not look to be recieved,it only knows how to give,if one rejects this love,it matters not, because love has no hurt, love only knows action, love comforts,it mends,it repairs broken hearts.

I am so thankful you Nicole are understanding this at such a young age!! It took me till age 25 to finally see what you are seeing now. I know you did not write this for a pat on the back, you wrote this to let others know that Jesus loves in action, not just in words. Thanks for the reminder! I know you will be blessed abundantly! 2 Cor 1:3-7 blessing to you my sister in Christ.

Dear Audrey.

I am with Brighthouse regarding your expression of the Love of Christ for us.

For one so young this is very encouraging for us all. I will pray for the young one and her mother Audrey.

Giving is so rewarding in Christ!

Thank you all so much!

Its hard because tuition is rising (as always), and I'm getting a lot of expensive tooth work done (braces, surgery, and the like).

I thought maybe I was making a bad choice signing up for her because of the lack of money; but when I saw her little face (she's 1) I knew I just had to have her lol! :)

I'm really hoping I can sponsor her long enough to see her grow up... so for the next 17 years. I think that would just be the coolest thing, and I know God can work through me to touch her life, even though I'm thousands of miles away.

So thanks for your prayers!
