Hi guys em i'm kina new around here.

Been wondering about something though. I love music and i stick with gospel music. I have noticed that many songs today that are gospel do not have so much scriptural content, anybody notice?
While they are soul lifting and very inspiring i still believe that we need to have songs of the word because christians are people of the word.

We are begotten by the word folks. Something to think about.

Anyone feel me?

I understand what you mean, but we have to remember worship reflects the worshipper's testimony. What God did for them and how he brought them out.

I can not give account to all, but even though we don't hear scripture in the music, the band or singer will share the scripture that inspired the song.

It also boils down to what type of music you entertain, if you want scripture songs..do a search some musicians put music to the psalms.
