ARE THERE ARE TWO GOSPELS?

Paul explicitly taught there is only one gospel. In Galatians 1:8-9 he pronounces a curse on anyone who preaches another gospel. If there were two legitimate gospels, Paul's warning makes no sense.
Paul was warning them not to receive another gospel other than his gospel
There were those preaching the law in addition to his gospel for salvation

What do you say the gospel is

Doug, please put more effort into your replies. You are not addressing arguments raised.

Doug, after thread after thread of isolated verses, manufactured contradictions, and conclusions that ignore the surrounding context, you are starting to look less like someone seeking truth and more like someone determined to force a system onto Scripture. The Bible repeatedly warns us to be careful with teachers who distort God's word (2 Peter 3:16), teach things contrary to sound doctrine (1 Timothy 1:3), or divide believers through speculative interpretations (Titus 3:9).

Please examine yourself carefully in light of these warnings. None of us should want to stand before God and discover that we handled His word carelessly or led others into error.

As for your claim, the fact that baptism is mentioned in one context and not emphasized in another does not create two gospels. By that logic, every time one biblical author mentions a detail another author does not, we would have multiple gospels.

Paul explicitly taught there is only one gospel. In Galatians 1:8-9 he pronounces a curse on anyone who preaches another gospel. If there were two legitimate gospels, Paul's warning makes no sense.

Your argument also ignores the fact that Paul himself baptized converts (1 Corinthians 1:14-16). Therefore, baptism cannot be what separates Paul's gospel from that of Jesus and the apostles.

The difference is not two gospels. The difference is emphasis. John the Baptist, Jesus, the Twelve, and Paul all proclaimed salvation through God's redemptive work. You are taking a ministry distinction and turning it into a gospel distinction, and the text simply does not support that conclusion.
Baptism is important because it is a public declaration that someone has decided to follow Jesus. However, it is not necessary to be saved. We know this because the thief on the cross who was saved by Jesus had no chance of being baptized. And again, we know this by what the Bible itself says, "whoever calls on the name of Jesus will be saved." The name of Jesus, Yeshua in Hebrew, is what matters. The Bible several times emphasizes the power of the name of Jesus, including people being healed by using his name and saved by using his name.

Please tell me what is the gospel?
May Jesus fill us with his love and wisdom

A Gospel is an authenticated writing about Jesus. They were written by those who were there present with Jesus.

We refer to them as the Gospels, although the authors themselves obviously did not refer to it that way. But it was through those who followed the teachings of Jesus, and the words were passed on. Through the tradition of the early church, it was put into writing in those early years and finally when the printing press became available it was put into book form which became the Bible through the efforts of the monks that God called together to do that.

When we say that the Bible is written by Jesus. Or by God, it's actually written through the combination of the inspiration of the Holy Spirit and those who received the instruction from the Holy Spirit.

We have to understand that just like the bringing together of the Bible, that mankind is a co-creator with God. No obviously we're not God, but God allows mankind to co-create with him. We see this evidence in children, in music, in literature, in scientific discoveries. And in all sorts of things. It's what makes us unique and it also makes the relationship that we have with God unique. Because God doesn't dictate to us, he shares with us and wants to become part of our lives and us to become part of his life. It's All About Love

Please tell me what you say the gospel is

Doug, I asked you to type better rebuttals and you create a one-liner rabbit trail.

Please try focus. Type a sound rebuttal to each argument raised in post # 15.

Your short one - liner replies belong on X. This is a discussion forum.

There isnt scripture that says this

Doug, you have been given scripture that clearly supports what @Richard Aberdeen stated.

You truly seem unable to A. read, B. comprehend what you read, C. type sound rebuttals to support your borderline heretic opinions and D. accept and deal with being corrected before posting a new thread.

Please show me from Paul where the body of Christ is commanded this........."Baptism is important because it is a public declaration that someone has decided to follow Jesus."
