LOL Chad! *cough*

I'm Danyett and I'm 31. I think that it doesn't matter what your age is, but it's good to know. We go through different things at different stages in our lives. It helps knowing because age has bearing on the point of view that a person will be coming from, I think. I looked forward to learning from those who have more experience in life than I do, and I hope that I can help someone who has had less experience in life than me. God bless you all, young and old, we are all in this together!

I'm 19... but I have lived enough life to put me somewhere around 35, definately! I feel so OLD compared to others sometimes... even when their (physically) older than me!

Age doesnt matter I think, but it's an interesting poll. I will point out that the buttons list the upper and lower age brackets twice... like 18-25 and 25-40 or whatever the numbers were =) I guess which one you chose depends on how old you felt at the time, right?? If you felt young, you might chose the 18-25, but if you felt older... you might chose the other one with the upper range =)

I will agree with one user who said that it might not be the easiest hing for someone complaining about school to relate with a 60 year old though!! I think it also relies heavily on personality type as well... The starched shirt traditional church goer (complete with organs!) may or may not have an incredibly hard time who worships with music that may or may not include a *gasp* electric guitar =) My grandpa is one that is like that... he refuses to go to our church when he visits us (we play Chris Tomlin and similar sounding songs) and if he's ever in a position to be stuck listening, he crosses his arms and huffs really loudly!!! Its funny, but slightly insulting at the same time =/ I myself probably would have a very hard time connecting with him (He's probably around 65-70 years old) because worshipping with music is one way I really and deeply connect with God and "recharge my batteries" so to speak.

I talk to much! I'm retreating before something else comes spilling out!
God bless

welcome Kimbles
I am much older than yourself, but not quite as old as your Grandpa, at 55 I love listening to Cris Tomlin, also Paul Bolache I highly rate.

I don't know what it is with myself, but I can listen to a range of and style of worship, although not rock.

I have went from one extreme to the other.
Attending Brethren with my own Dad before he died, moving to Pentecostal then after several months going back to Dad's church.

Both are so differant, but I do believe I'm settled now.

I think our Parents and Grandparents are more set in their ways at their age, it's taken a long time to get there, and by the grace of God too.
So I think we can make allowances for those 'huffs' with arms folded, my Dad would've huffed and puffed too at various things, it makes the memories of them so much more colourful.

Enjoy your Grandpa for as long as the Lord lets you, he's precious.

Me

I'm 27, too Chad...though you might have turned 28 by now lol. BUT I'm married :-D My husband, Ben, is a great guy ;-) LOL I typed my husband, Jen (Jen is MY name LOL. I don't know how being my own husband works...hmmmm...anywho). No children yet...waiting...anticipating...trying to be patient. *sigh* I guess that is it...

OH my mom is one of 13...9 girls and 4 boys. :-)

I have been a Christian most if not all my life. BUT I didn't understand much until I was 21.

~Jen~

hey Chad

Hey Chad, Pual said that is a good thing.

I don't know you but I must say this site is a blessing to me. I thank the Lord for it.

I think the age in the flesh in one thing, I am 37, (Happily Married) But I would like to know how long people on this site have been born again, I think that could really help us who are young in the Lord.

Me, Feb 2006 I met the 180 degree Christ. A new life as a son of God Began,

For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
Romans 8:14

Does this require a new age then?

I will be saved, praise God, 6 years coming this December.
26 Dec 2002 I was Born Again.

Luk 2:41 Now his parents went to Jerusalem every year at the feast of the passover.
Luk 2:42 And when he was twelve years old, they went up to Jerusalem after the custom of the feast.
Luk 2:43 And when they had fulfilled the days, as they returned, the child Jesus tarried behind in Jerusalem; and Joseph and his mother knew not of it.
Luk 2:44 But they, supposing him to have been in the company, went a day's journey; and they sought him among their kinsfolk and acquaintance.
Luk 2:45 And when they found him not, they turned back again to Jerusalem, seeking him.
Luk 2:46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
Luk 2:47 And all that heard him were astonished at his understanding and answers.
Luk 2:48 And when they saw him, they were amazed: and his mother said unto him, Son, why hast thou thus dealt with us? behold, thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing.
Luk 2:49 And he said unto them, How is it that ye sought me? wist ye not that I must be about my Father's business?
Luk 2:50 And they understood not the saying which he spake unto them.

If we allow the HOLY GHOST to teach us? we can be grown in our Spirit after a time!
Jesus Christ came as a baby ,without knowledge to be a good example to each of us
Meaning, We too can be wise at 12 years old!

As stated by other posters, It doesnt matter what your age is, as long as we are sincere about worshipping Jesus. For the record I am 27
