Beating Children For The Glory Of God?

Beating Children for the Glory of God

The application of physical punishment in a spirit of love (not rage) when it is needed is important in training a child in the way he/she should go. Sometimes you need to deal decisively with their defiance before you can get their attention.

Amen and Amen! God bless the little children!

I hear you load & clear, Coconut.

GOD spoke through you load & clear!

Beating Children For The Glory Of God is sick & nothing but mislead nonsense!

Thank you for sharing your feelings with us on this subject.

And you're right it seams as though the media will feed on such nonsense
and show little interest in true Christianity at all.

You brought out a lot of good points.

And I really do believe GOD was speaking through you.

I do agree, we need to becareful & cautious, for there are many false prophets today, as Jesus did say this would happen. {Matthew 7:15}

And I realize that we need to set people straight & set the examples in how we live our lives. But we need to do it in a loving way. And not in a hateful or harsh-full way, as to poke fun at them, as some people do.

Colossians 3:21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.

James 1:5 Any of you who lacks wisdom must ask God, who gives to all generously and without scolding; it will be given.

There are so many people out there, wanting to Worship, Love & Obey The Almighty GOD & through the teachings of our Beloved Savior Christ Jesus. But are being miss led every day. And don't even have a clue as to realize it.

Why we need to put our hand on their sholder & lovingly explain the truth.

That is why we need to live by the truth, giving into the truth with all that is in us. We must pray to GOD, asking HIM to pour HIS Holy Spirit upon us. We need to stay in control of our own actions. {Genesis 4:7}

For that is the only way we can fight temptation of anykind of sin.

But most of all we kneed the knowledge that only The Almighty GOD can give to us to show us the way & that way is through HIS Son Christ Jesus.
*genesis {James 1:5}

1 Peter 4:7-13
7 The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you
can pray.

8 Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

9 Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling.

10 Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully
administering God's grace in its various forms.

11 If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone
serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be
praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.
Suffering for Being a Christian

12 Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though
something strange were happening to you.

13 But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be
overjoyed when his glory is revealed.

There exists a core of people who tend to revel in the punishing of others. It gets worse if they can legally justify it, and more so if Scripture can be used to justify such behaviour. I agree that some children really do need to be taken in hand and set straight, but only when all other methods have failed. But, some use it as a first resort and seek opportunities to employ brutality when ever possible because it's in their nature to hurt others.

Such hypocrites are easy to spot: they think rules are made to be broken, but they quickly change their attitude when their rules are broken. D'ya think?
