I vaguely remember seeing Benny Hinn when I was newly saved. I was kind of in awe when I saw how people went down, apparently, under the Holy Spirit.
I've since learned this man does everything in the flesh. God may use him anyway. Isaiah 55:10-11 reads;
As the rain and the snow
come down from heaven,
and do not return to it
without watering the earth
and making it bud and flourish,
so that it yields seed for the sower and bread for the eater,
so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
He has a brother, Henry Hinn, who has a popular ministry and church in Vancouver, BC. Not as flamboyant as his older brother but definitely something similar there.
I'm not a fan of ANY televangelist, as most of them have proven to be very superficial and into it for the money. My only exception is Billy Graham. He has ALWAYS stayed on point and submitted to a peer group.
