Bible Story of a Brave Trio: Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego

I read the paper you entered for discussion, concerning Daniel, and Shadrach, Meshac and Abednego. Which was followed by a question to reflect upon (quote):- 'Who was the fourth man Nebuchadnezzar saw in the flames?

'Then Nebuchadnezzar spake, and said,
Blessed be the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,
Who hath sent His angel,
and delivered His servants that trusted in Him,
and have changed the king's word,
and yielded their bodies,
that they might not serve nor worship any god,
except their own God.
Therefore I make a decree,
That every people, nation, and language,
which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,
shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill:
because there is no other God that can deliver after this sort.'
(Dan 3:28-29)

* The record says that it was an angel of God. To say anything more would be speculation.

The following comes to mind:-

' I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God,
that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice,
holy, acceptable unto God,
which is your reasonable service.
And be not conformed to this world:
but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind,
that ye may prove
what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.'
(Rom 12:1-2)
