Can someone help me to be saved?

You will never find the precise denomination. Find an active and alive church that possess the essential beliefs of christianity and ministries that reach out to the lost.
Like what kind of church I never been in a church where i have grown.. the Mormon church I went to at one point was probably when I experienced the blessings like getting a job quicker than I expected.. but I just don't no if it's right to go there because I don't believe in everything they teach as dogma..

Well -- the idea is that a person Needs to spend time every day in God's Word. However long it takes a person to really get into reading / studying. Some people really like to read and others might not. But the reading / studying Is important.

Mormon doctrine is not especially Biblical. Their founder is Joseph Smith who's visions are part of their beliefs. The Book of Mormon is along with the Bible. So -- no -- I'd look elsewhere.

The RCC group is also Not based on God's Word. So -- again -- look elsewhere.

No denomination will save a person. It's where a person places their faith that matters. There should be a missions-minded approach with the Gospel unto salvation.

People sometimes feel 'safe' simply going to a church on Sundays. Studying God's Word is necessary both in Sunday School / Church and personally at home.

I had some friends who were Mormon missionaries. We talked every friday for several months. The mormon church is a cult. They do not believe in those essential beliefs.

Good advice.

Greetings brother Frank,

Your heart is right in so many ways my friend, the Holy Spirit is already working for you, don't doubt, Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding, allow Him to direct your path.

Well I disagree that ALL Christians that are true send a minimum a 45 minutes a day reading scriptures.. But im

I disagree also, anyone who puts a time on study and reading is only doing it to encourage but failing to realise we are all different, we all have different tasks in a day, we are all at different stages in our faith walk with Jesus.

Imagine giving a baby in Christ 45 minutes of feeding in the word, it could not be digested. We should read the Word every day that is correct, but feed on The Word just enough to digest it. It is possible to read one verse and pray and spend an hour meditating on that word, where as another person would be happy to read a section of a chapter. We are all different, you are much further than the milk my friend, but I would not recommend how long you should read The Word each day, but what I would and do recommend is we should all read The Word daily, as we should all say The Lord's Prayer daily, 'Give us this day, our daily bread' The Word is our daily bread, The Word has living waters so we never thirst for anything except the Father, through Jesus, who is The Word. John 1:1-5

I tried 3 Christian churches this last year or so idk what to look for though

There is only One Church brother, the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ called 'The Bride of Christ'. When we are born again John 3:1-8, the spirit enters out heart, we no longer belong to, sin, the world and the devil, we belong to God, we belong to Jesus. We belong to the One True Church, the ekklesia, baptised in spirit and water, born again believers, we have become spiritual stones, together we are the Church, the ekklesia, it is the saved souls worldwide, regardless of age, sex, colour, language, Jews or Gentiles, we are together the Church, the Body of Christ, the Bride of Christ, Jesus is the Head of the Body of believers.

Should we be part of a denomination, called a church? Firstly we must accept that the Church, the building called the Church, is not a church, only the saved souls in that building are the ekklesia, the Church. If Pastors preached this there would be less none believers in the Church buildings and the ekklesia would grow. To God be the Glory. But this won't happen due to 'denomination beliefs and differences'.

So should you be part of a denomination? Each are different as we have stated, you have already tried some and felt them not right for you. Bless you for trying them brother.

Now you could say should I go to a RCC? Question would be do you know their beliefs, do you agree with there beliefs and practices?
You could say should I go to a Protestant church, to a Baptist Church, to a Methodist Church, etc, etc.

One question can lead to many, you may consider searching denominational beliefs, that could rule some out, it could point you in the right direction, but always pray for guidance first. Some questions may be, are you happy with Mass, actually believing you are eating the body of Christ and drinking His blood! You could say this denomination prays through the heart of Mary, I know that is wrong so I don't want that one. You may ask is child christening acceptable, if you do you will consider some but if you realise what scripture says, I believe you do brother, you may choose to put them aside. You then may say I accept baptism is right, but you may find they are weak in other areas, the bottom line is, don't spend to long thinking about these things, it is good to do a basic search and consider for you my friend, but then you may find a place and you don't feel you fit in because, they are all to old, to young, to evangelical for you, to routine and procedural for you, you could even go to a church (building the kuriakon) join the believers the ekkesia, and find there is back biting or unrest amongst them.

So back to the question, should you be part of a denomination? Go where the Lord directs you my friend, try some and if not right for you move on. I know devoted Christians go to places of worship, denominations, that was not really their cup of tea, why? Because God placed them there! God had a plan for them, God had a plan for the denomination, a plan for the ekklesia in that denomination, possibly because the faithful few were crying out to God for help. Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding brother, let Him guide your path. He has a plan for you. Praise the Lord, He has a plan for us all, it is just giving in to Him and let Him guide your every way.

May the good Lord, Bless you, Guide you and Protect you, may He reveal His will in your life. May He strengthen our Trust and Love in Him, may He guide us daily in His Word. In Jesus Name we pray. Amen

Peace and love be with you brother.

Jesus is Lord to the Glory of God the Father.

@ Brother-Paul

You mentioned that a person Should pray The Lord's Prayer daily? Praying / talking to God every day -- yes -- but why specifically The Lord's Prayer. Praying should be talking to go from our heart.

@FrankDSegura

As far as what church to go to, depends on where a person lives and what's available. But definitely a Protestant church. Methodist, Presbyterian, Lutheran, Baptist.

Mainly -- be in God's Word yourself. It's like eating a meal during the day -- eat what satisfies you -- read as much as you're comfortable with.

@ Brother-Paul

Prayer is talking to God, talking to Jesus, who intercedes out prayers.

We the Lord's Prayer?

It is what is in the Lord's Prayer that is important to remember, we can pray those elements daily, but look again at what Jesus said...

Matthew 6:9-15 (NKJV)
9 In this manner, therefore, pray:

Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
Amen.

14 "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
15 But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Luke 11:1-4 (NKJV)
1 Now it came to pass, as He was praying in a certain place, when He ceased, that one of His disciples said to Him,
"Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples."

2 So He said to them, When you pray, say:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us day by day our daily bread.
And forgive us our sins,
For we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us.
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.

We do not necessarily have to pray the Lord's Prayer daily, bit Jesus was telling us how to pray, or more importantly the things we should pray for regularly of even daily.

Look again...

Our Father in heaven,
(Jesus always points us to the Father first)
Hallowed be Your name.
(God the Father is Holy we are to Hallow is Holy Name)

Your kingdom come.
(God's Kingdom will come, to every born again believer on earth in their life on earth)
Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.
(We are to never forget, God's will, will be done, through every believer, on earth as it is in heaven - Emmanuel, God with us, not just at Christmas)

Give us this day our daily bread.
(We are to ask God to give us our daily bread, daily bread, enough for 24 hours, not to little, not to much, enough daily. What is our Daily Bread? It is enough for the next 24 hours, food, water, clothing, roof over our heads, sanatory requirements, heating, money. But enough for the day, not to little, but never to much, all things are good and nothing rots in the Heavenly)

And forgive us our debts, As we forgive our debtors.
(Ask for forgiveness daily, through Jesus, as we grow life becomes a pray and some things, especially forgiveness we will in time, as we know, pray the minute we know we have sinned, forgive us our sin, forgive us our debts, forgive us our errors in your sight Lord)

And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one.
(The RCC wants to drop the first half of this plea, it is wrong to drop it, not one dot or tittle will change in The Word, those who do will pay the consequences.
Luke 22:31-32 (NKJV)
And the Lord said, "Simon, Simon! Indeed, Satan has asked for you, that he may sift you as wheat.
But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail; and when you have returned to Me, strengthen your brethren."

How many would pray this if we didn't pray the Lord's Prayer and fully understand every part of it?
Part two of this plea we all ask daily, but do new believers?)

For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever.
Amen.

Then we conclude by giving God the Glory, for ever and ever, Give thanks to God through Jesus Christ, for the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory...

Amen, so be it.

Jesus tells us what to pray, He suggests we get the order right, he tells us what to pray for daily, it is a powerful prayer, given to us from our Precious, Loving, Lord and Saviour.

As for me, I do pray it daily, but I vary what I pray daily, without losing its reverence and meaning, but also so that it never gets repetative and always comes from the heart, at all times making sure it gives God the Glory.

I take
Our Father.... I pray also, Father, Gracious Father, Loving Father, Abba father...
Hallowed be thy Name... I pray also, Holy is your Name Father, Holy and Righteous is Your Name, Father I hallow your Holy Name...
Your Kingdom come... I vary as I feel led, thanking God for the Kingdom and that we art part of it...
Yours will be done on earth as it is in heaven... there are lots of ways to Praise God and thank Jesus...
Give us this day our 'Daily Bread'... there are examples above, but we can also thank Him and Praise Him for our 'Daily Bread' in many ways...
Asking forgiveness of sins speaks for itself but we can vary this and share with our Lord how sorry we are, as we would at any other time...
And do not lead us into temptation, But deliver us from the evil one...
Both parts are so important, but we can vary as we wish, praying daily not to be led into temptation, praying daily and when ever, for deliverance and for protection from the evil one, his fiery darts, his devious tricks... we can also put on the whole armour of God at this point.
Then boy oh boy haven't we got reason to Rejoice and Give Thanks.

Jesus gave us a pattern for prayer, we don't have to pray it as it is, but we should include all the elements He tells us about, He tells us what to pray for. Including our 'Daily Bread', our 24 hours worth, of the items stated above and others we may think of.

It is not just praying, give us this day our Daily Bread, it is talking in prayer to God, through Jesus, and asking for the essentials for the coming day, or 24 hours depending when we might pray. It also helps us to realise what is important, the next 24 hours, do not worry about tomorrow, tomorrow will have problems of it's own.

Sermons galore can be made from the Lord's Prayer, especially when The Word is expounded, when it is understood as our Lord meant it, and all the elements put into our Daily routines. Things don't have the same appeal if we realise our soul could be called for tonight, if Jesus returns tonight, treasures in heaven are everlasting, Thanks be to God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, in Jesus Name we pray all He has taught us. Amen.

Okay ---That is a good explanation of what you meant. And there is Also Philippians 4:6-7 "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your heat and minds through Christ Jesus. " And then we are told the things to be thinking/ meditating On.

Hello greetings fellow believers!
Can someone help me to know my salvation is a sealed salvation?
I want to know because I feel like sometimes im uncertain about if I would inevitably be saved, i feel that ive fallen into a hole and no one would want to help me..
I feel like I need a heart detector so to speak.. That I can find out if im made right..
I always struggled with a certain sin..but i feel my life has been humbled but Idk what to think about myself.

I get scared to go places, and im a shy guy in person.. Some people have made me feel that i would turn normal if i was truely saved.. I could accept whatever is the truth..
I dont even know what people mean by still small voice because i have so many evil hideous thoughts that I usally just think any good I think is of Elohim, and any evil is a thought from the adversary.
I struggle to think that the Holy Spirit could dwell in a temple, an idividual that is prone to evil thoughts...
Please help me, i even sometimes envision scary things
I just want to know if im bearing fruits of the spirit.
Thank you very much!

Hi Frank, Greetings in Christ Jesus, God the Father predestined your salvation, He knew your struggles, failures and iniquities, which is why you need to believe that you are saved and sealed by the Blood of Jesus. There are deliverance programs that you need to action in your life. There are people that can help you with deliverance; it is not easy to do it on your own.
Points to ponder; Grace means, that Gods unmerited favour in our circumstances and struggles are real and are an ongoing process. Hebrews 4:12, 13, For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.
Soul salvation is so personal; it is dependent on an intimate relationship with God the Holy Spirit. God the Holy Spirit is a real person , since your conversion He is indwelt you , walks with you and is waiting for you to call on Him to refine you as pure as gold. This is where our discernment starts, we can never discern good on our own.
Below are scriptures that led to your salvation, you need not fear “You are Saved and Sealed” by the Blood of Jesus. God chose you! God’s covenant is called “unconditional love”. God is our Creator and He is the master planner of our lives and in all His Omniscience did all the work to gain your soul, spirit, joints and marrow, it is and not by your works but by His Grace that he chose you. The Scriptures are very clear.
Jesus explanation, John 6:44 No man can come to me (Jesus) , except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.
Apostle Paul’s teaching, Ephesians 1: 3,4 , Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he ( God the Father) hath chosen us in him ( Jesus) before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him (God the Father ) in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will, To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.
2 Corinthians 5:21 For he (Father God) hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Today I reiterate that the Grace of God saves and not a church . The Church offers us spiritual teaching , proper , accurate Biblical teaching and Is healthy for our soulish lives. When we worship in the church it is important to know that you worshiping Jesus as the Body of Christ.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
My quote “Life is a gift from God, however what you do in obedience to Abba with your life” will be in accordance to the will of God’ in love“ Margot Cridland.
Reconciliation process, 2 Corinthians 5:18-19
And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; To wit,(become aware of) that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.

When you were saved, you entered into a “Blood covenant “with God in Jesus Christ and “died to self” Galatians 2:20 ,21 ,
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.
Your own ideas imaginations , thoughts , dreams are in Christ Jesus , He is the one that gets all the Glory.
2 Corinthians 10:5
, Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;
I hope you understand that even if you think evil things , and is uncertain and shy , struggle with a particular sin , that Our Omniscient (all knowing) God is there to help you and will deliver you if you really are ready and free to let go of “ Self” and to let God do the work Inside of you , this will happen . The Vinedresser ( God the Holy Spirit ) does the pruning in the inside and it overflows to the outside of you in order for you become fruitful in your life here on earth. We all received free will from God , Our Soul comprises of “ Will “ Intellect” and Emotions “ and It is up to you to give it or to surrender everything sinful that you know of to our Omnipotent ( almighty ) and ( all present ) Omnipresent God .

You need to pray this prayer, Abba, in Jesus I come to you as Your child , bought out of slavery to sin by the “Bloodshed of Jesus Christ” , I thank you that You are the God of the universe and Lord of my life . I submit my body to You as an instrument of righteousness , a living and holy sacrifice , that I may glorify You in my body . Abba , in Jesus I pray that You fill me with the Holy Spirit as I commit my myself to the renewing of my mind in order to prove that Your will is good , acceptable and perfect for me. All this I pray in the name and the authority of the “ Risen Christ” Lord Jesus Amen. The Glory is God’s Glory. Hallelujah.
You will always be in my prayers .
God bless , your Sister in Christ.

How is it going with you. I just woke up so I'm a little confused about what you wrote. Are you saying that God is the one that decides who goes to heaven or hell and that we have no choice in where we end up because God has decided for us what our choices will be in advance?

Surrender means you put yourself in God's hands. You surrender what you want, you surrender having to know, you surrender having to understand, you surrender having to have answers to your questions.... It's not about you.

Forget about something mystical and magical happening to YOU, maybe that is for SOME people, but that is THEM not YOU, so give up on that, surrender that, renounce all that.

Just accept that you ARE saved and it doesn't always come with special effects! Just be grateful and thankful.

Don't always expect your sinful nature to disappear, it won't. But be aware that you do have a CHOICE about sinning... that choice is God's GIFT.. and might be the only thing you notice. So be GRATEFUL for that and that you will avoid hell.
Just be grateful that a sinner like you will escape with your life!!

So to recap... put your ego aside, put your pride aside, put aside YOUR need to have answers and just accept that being saved looks just as it does for you right now. Surrender what you think somebody else's experience might have been and just gratefully accept what God has given you...

Eternal life, the capacity to choose, and to recognise your own sin.

Hi Frank , My apologies , I trust you well . I could not answer this before as I experienced some problems with my computer system. John 3:16 ,17 KJV For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life . For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. I believe and understand that God will never ever send anyone to hell . He loves us unconditionally that is why He sent His Son Jesus to save us . Our soul comprises of our own will , intellect and emotions and this is world conscious . A great example , Adam and Eve lost the Glory of God in the garden of Eden because of sin. It is up to you and me to make the decision where we will spend eternity . This was God's plan from the beginning; Ephesians 1:3-5 KJV Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love: Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will So we see the Holy Bible explains to us what God had done for us, God chose you and me in Jesus Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and without blame before Him in love , however it is up to you and me to decide if Jesus is and will be Lord of our lives forever.. Obedience is key. Hope you understand , this is my understanding in Christ Jesus .
If anyone feels differently , please feel free to comment in order to help Frank to understand that if He confessed Jesus to be Lord of his life he is saved by the Blood of Jesus and now his spirit is born again. .
Apologies once more for the late reply.
Kind regards,
Margot :)

It's belief in your heart and confession unto our personal salvation. Believing that Jesus Christ is God's Son -- that He died on the cross and was buried and rose again on the 3rd day -- according to Scripture -- 1 Corinthians 15 to be saved.

Then the Holy Spirit will come to indwell the believer and there will be the desire For obedience.

A person needs to acknowledge their individual need For salvation. And realize that nothing they can do themselves will help their salvation -- all that needs to be done Has been done on the cross by Jesus Christ. And, yes, the blood of Christ is sufficient for our salvation. We simply accept and thank God for His gift of our salvation.
