Recently I came across the terms silver cord, portals, lay lines and communication lines while looking into spiritual warefare prayers. They seem to be communication pathways/doors taken for the enemy to get in. But can anyone who knows this stuff please explain it to me! Thank you

If it isn't in the Bible I wouldn't pay to much attention to it. Our warfare is simple. Its all in the destruction of those thoughts and feelings that keep us from seeing that everything that enters your life is given to you by the wisdom of God be that good or evil for your own maturing( the mind of Christ). Your carnal mind doesn't like this because it believes it is in complete control and sees itself as God.
Simply pray, and if you can pray in tongues, or in the spirit at least part of the time. Pray for wisdom and understanding and eventually you will see that your spiritual enemies are those that reside IN YOU. Physical lusts, greed, self preservation, self pride, vanity etc.... These are hard task masters to get rid of as they will drive you daily. Simply observe yourself for any evidence of these then try to stop whatever it is that causes that problem to continue. Begin with just one then as you've mastered that move to the next.
PS Satan and his minion only know what your thinking when you open your mouth and speak so choose what you say carefully as they will use your own words against you. If you have dreams try to remember them as sometimes these are given to make you feel guilty of something you never did, like undeserved condemnation. Examine it, if it fits your life fix it, if it doesn't then throw it out with the trash.

Spiritual warfare is spoken of in Ephesians 6:10 - 19 vs 10 Finally , my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.
vs 11 " Put o the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

vs 12 "For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
vs 13 "Thee fore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to Stand.

vs 14 - 17 describe the various pieces of armor and their importance. And ending with the importance of prayer. Boldness is presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ.

so please take time to read those 4 verses on your own.

What warfare means? That there's a battle going on -- we hear about battles / skirmishes taking place in various geographical locations . Spiritual battles taking place that are not visible.

Between satan and you and I -- that's what the passage is talking about that I brought up. vs 12 and 13. of Ephesians 6

I've no clue about the terms you've brought up other than the spiritual warfare. Prayer is mentioned as being important.

The other terms are not in the Bible. Maybe something from sci-fi ?!

there are lots of beliefs systems 'out there' that are not Bible -based. Be very careful about those.

I just Googled those terms -- having to do with the occult -- Stay Away from that. Portals into the demonic world. God's Word says to Stay Away -- Dangerous. Astral projections -- NO. It's real enough -- Stay Away.

The Bible refers to a "silver cord" which has a connection to our "skull" (golden bowl) that transfers information through our spine to other parts of our body. Spiritual ware deals only in the realm of the spirit and has nothing to do with the flesh even though spiritual evils many times manifest themselves in the physical world, but they are spiritual in nature. You can not use physical weapons to fight a spiritual enemy.

Ecc 12:6 [Remember your Creator earnestly now] before the silver cord [of life] is snapped apart, or the golden bowl is broken, or the pitcher is broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern [and the whole circulatory system of the blood ceases to function];
Ecc 12:7 Then shall the dust [out of which God made man's body] return to the earth as it was, and the spirit shall return to God Who gave it. (AMP)

2Co 10:3 For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons.

Lay lines are simply drawn lines between magnetic strong points on the earth. Some ppl think that lay lines hold some power over magic in some new age garbage. It will draw you away from God if you focus on it.

There's been a battle between God and satan /Lucifer / since the beginning of time. In the spirit /ual realm. Thus spiritual warfare. God is spirit -- He's very real. Satan is spirit / very real. the war is for our souls. At some point Eternity will be here.
Everyone will spend eternity either in heaven or hell. The warfare is satan wanting as much company in hell as possible. God has given everyone The One way to spend eternity with Him in heaven / the New Jerusalem. So -- satan has devised all sorts of ways to distract us from God -- the 'new age garbage' Will draw a person Away from God. So Protect our hearts / mind.

Warfare . Boiled down is Satan and his third of the angels that rebelled are in opposition to God and his purposes. Jesus came to defeat Satan , ( and his angels) and to do so God became ( a Man ) He humbled himself took upon Himself our flesh and blood . He was obedient unto death so for the first time Satan killed an innocent person and became guilty of murder. When man separated Himself from God by sin ( disobedience) man became liable to pay penalty. Death = separation from God. God could have forcibly taken out the devil but that is not his nature . He gave Adam a bona fide gift ...>dominion ( the earth) when man disobeyed God he gave that dominion to Satan. This is why the devil is called the god of this world in 2 Corinthians 4 . God's righteousness holds the transgressor of His Holy Law , liable to pay penalty , God is Holy. A different nature . God is righteous that is the attribute whereby He upholds His law. I know what is warfare ? Getting there. Satan is in opposition to God and His purpose to Have a people. The warfare is a spiritual one. Sinners are captives in the Bible , led captive by the devil who also assigns various demonic forces to individuals as does God assign angels . Satan lost the dominion man gave Him when He killed an innocent man. Before that he could do anything he wanted with his own property. The Bible says , if they knew the result of killing Jesus they never would have. The Lord outslicked him . Life for life . Christs life instead of ours. We become His people , He commissions us with authority to exercise the victory of the cross. Warfare is exercising the authority of Christs Victory over Satan . With His name , His Word, Access to Jesus . But Jesus defeated the devil. He is a condemned murder He has no right to the earth or any of Adams descendants as he once did. Our weapons are mighty through God The Word of God , The Blood of the Lamb , the Name of Jesus , and whatever we ask according to His will. Prayer is where the warfare is and the devil knows it that's why the phone rings when you are praying for that lost aunt , etc. We are enforcing the victory of Calvary over the enemy . John 16:13; "But when He, the Spirit of truth, comes, He will guide you into all the truth; for He will not speak on His own initiative, but whatever He hears, He will speak; and He will disclose to you what is to come.

The Son is over the Spirit.

Yes Jesus became a man just like His brethren. It was necessary in Gods eyes for Him to experience what His brothers experienced in the flesh as this would make Him a better Judge, a better
High Priest and even be used to perfect Him, but if He were God or an aspect or appendage of God He would not need these experiences, He would have already known.
The simple truth that wants to be clouded over by trinity doctrine is that Jesus was just as one of us before any of us were placed in the human body. He is called the word as he commanded
the creation to be whatever God spoke it to be and we were there with Him at that time. However; He like us was just a feminine spirit that was a part of God, like us, that needed to
experience good and evil to become an independent life source just as we are slated to become. He was foreordained before the world but was not begotten until His body's conception.
He also had not become the spiritually begotten Son until His baptism in Jordan.

In short if Jesus was God then so are we. He became a life giving spirit after His perfection and so will we as that was and always will be the Fathers plan. It started with Him and it continues with
the first group of elect.

But since Jesus is the Son and we are sons of the living God, He Himself cannot be the only true God as He was given life to have within Himself just as He now gives to us. Jesus and i and you
are brothers. We all have the same Father who is the only true God, even though we will all possess the same characteristics as our Father eventually, this is the free giving of the kingdom
to the children (God likeness in every aspect).
Again you, I, and Jesus are brothers, we all worship the same God, our Father.

This is why the devil is called the god of this world in 2 Corinthians 4

But yet the devil is NOT called the god of this world in 2 Corinthians 4. Paul had no trouble writing the name Satan, having done so 10 times in his epistles, and three times in 2nd Corinthians itself, so why didn't Paul directly say that Satan was the god of this world? (Because that's not what he meant.) Were one to speak to any citizen of the Roman Empire (of which Paul was one) and ask who was the "god of this world" the answer would have automatically been Caesar (sieg heil). Christians were killed, not because they were Christian, but because they refused to worship (do obeisance to) Caesar as God. Paul was shrewd. If he had written "Caesar" he would have been hunted down, arrested for treason and executed. Instead, he used a phrase that everyone knew meant "Caesar" but without actually saying Caesar.

Satan is in opposition to God and His purpose to Have a people.

To be honest, Satan has his own personal agenda, and rather couldn't care less about Christians.

A pastor once said, " throw a rock into a pack of dogs the dog that barks is the dog that got hit". Well , seems like a few of us are not on the same page. My purpose and calling is to help others . If your purpose is to undermine what I share because it isn't found in the Bible good luck with that. Going forward before I get diverted into a sidebar with those seeking to prove me wrong let's set some groundwork let's take one question at a time and recognize that we are dealing with life and death matters . If you are a Calvinist we will never agree, or a Catholic , or a Jehovahs Witness or a Mormon. If you want to discuss my statements they are found in the KJV . I don't use other versions . Honestly I could care less about splitting hairs but if you want to talk scripture rather than your spin . I'm all ears. Ok let me take on some questions because I just assume that I am not being evasive in my answers. I will now re-read the responses and address a few questions. Let's agree to STAY ON TOPIC. Jesus(The Son of God) was obedient to God the Father. He was , is , and always will be One with the Father. If you try to divide the Godhead into separate persons you will find yourself in error . They are One.

Are you a Calvinist ? Samson ? 2020 . The Lord gave permission to Satan to test Job.

Samson you need to seek God and stop using your own ideas about who he is . If you do not recognize the Christ of the Bible and the authority of the Bible . Well you'll never get to know Him in a personal way. You need to be saved . Peace
