Can the devil read our mind?

Very well said evangeline :) 100% true that the devil is limited in power, stripped of his power - and to add defeated so what worth would any power be for a defeated foe?
 
I've heard many times that the devil can not read minds. I guess don't be obvious in your mannerism. Sometimes you can tell what people are thinking by how they act.
 
u ah to prey in the spirit not exactly to prevent devil to read your mind,but to tune-in to the present of God,to empower the prayer with the holy spirit,so that the devil won't overcome it,remember the book of acts where the apostles gathered together and prayed in one accord,the bible says "...and they were filled with the holy spirit and the whole foundation of the house where they were standing shook..." can u see the neccesity of praying in the spirit,they tuned-in to God's presence and His power manifested.praying in the spirit makes you pray along-side holy spirit within His will,it accelerate the rate of your prayers,and brings about the consciousness,presence and power of God upon your prayers....

What an interesting question! No The devil cannot read our minds but....He can extrapolate from our speaking what line our thoughts are taking...As someone above said, Satan can plant thought in our head...That's why Jesus said to "Take no thought saying..." When you speak a thought, yours or someone elses you take that thought, you give it life. A thought unspoken though will die stillborn. Speak only what the word says about everything. Nothing more

Just want to add to this!!

We have all heard we have an inner ear and outer ear. This is very true in the Spiritual side of things too.

Have you ever told a story so many times that over the years you really believe it to be true?

Start reading your favorite verse. Half way through begin to spell your name out loud.

What happened?
Your brain began to totally focus on what you were saying.

Please see this.....
Its the same within our Spirit.
Our own words Influence our believing more then anything.

That's why satan is after your words.
One thought at a time. he has been manipulating and deceiving people since the beginning as is thee master of deception.

he is constantly at work trying to get you in a place where he has a legal right to steal, kill and destroy.

It's not power of the devil for he has been stripped of it. It's his trickery or the wiles that we are concerned with.

If you think, ahh man he can't trick me, well you are already half way beat.

The Devil has no idea what we are thinking.

1Cor 2:11 No one can know a person's thoughts except that person's own spirit, and no one can know God's thoughts except God's own Spirit. (NLT)
 
The devil has not yet been stripped of his power. He has only been defeated.

The real issue for me is that the devil is not omnipresent. If he were near one of us, he would be able to read us, not our minds. Sometimes the two are the same.
