Devotional Bible by Max Lucado

I got the Devotional Bible by Max Lucado - New Century Version. I love it! Its really neat and so easy to understand, kind of a fresh breath of air from some difficult parts of the Bible (with no disrepsect).

What do you all think of this book and/or New Century Version in general?

I have a W.W.J.D New Testament and it must be similar
to what you have it is put in very simple language
unfortunately it can't be got in the full Bible Old and New
Testaments, I must look out for that one I have a story
book by Max Lucado called 'You are special' I bought it
for my first Grandchild, it's lovely, I keep it though to read
to my other Grandchildren when they're old enough to
understand.

It is a matter of personal choice some do not care for the flowery poetry of the King James and rather read NIV or the like the most important thing is that you read His word and ask for understanding by the Spirit of Truth.
As for me I love the poetry of King James I feel it keeps the spirit of a "love letter" from God not an email:wink:

I have just purchased The New Living Translation Bible with Birthday money from my Mum and Dad, I like it but I also still use KJV and NIV for
reference still I like to compare still
it uses the word Love instead of Charity, that's the only one
I've learned so far but it doesn't mean instead of that was
wrongly put of me, it just means it's the same meaning, which
I must say I can see.
