Do Christians really understand what "Grace" is?

In a discussion in a different forum, it was suggested that grace was another term for the Holy Spirit. Has anyone heard of that before?

God cannot make mistakes or errors even the "Adversary" was made perfect by HIM. and No falsehood is in GOD. GOD is GOD.

No, but the idea is plausible and a bit convoluted .
After all the Holy Spirit is given to us by God, everything from Him is by His grace and free!
