Do you believe it is possible to live a life without having to sin in this present time.
Yes I do, when I learn to totally and completely depend upon Christ. When I allow the flesh to be truly dead in Christ, all there will be left in me is Christ, in all of His perfection and obedience.

Confessed sin is no longer on my account- He forgets and in His eyes, as I walk in Him, I am sinless. In the flesh, I am a rotting stench, there is no middle ground between these.
Yes, he that walks IN Him is sinless. He that walks IN his flesh is dead, and if it has exceeded four days we can take a quote from Martha...
by this time he stinketh: for he hath been dead four days.
My born again inner man or spirit is sinless (Eph_4:24 ), but my mind needs to be renewed. It is when we walk in Christ (in the Spirit) that we commune with the Holy Ghost and He makes the Word of God come alive to us, we believe it and are renewed in our mind. As we are renwed in our mind, we think like He thinks and walk His walk. It was no accident that Jesus was crucified at Golgotha ( the place of the skull).
And is not the inner man to kill the old man? Is this the reality of the types and shadows in the OT? The battles within us continue to rage with the “old man”against the “new man” each fighting kill the other so as to have completedominion. The “new man” cannot lose unlessyou or I choose the ways of the “old man” by quenching the Spirit. It is not one choice, one time. It is a continuing war with continuing choices until we as Paul have reached the end of our “course”

“I have fought a good fight, I havefinished my course, I have kept the faith:” II Tim 4:7

Or in the words of James:

[ quote]"Submit yourselves therefore to God [the new man]. Resist the devil [the old man], and he will flee from you.” James 4:7[/quote]

Boanerges: So as we walk in the Spirit, in His strength doing the Father's will, and thinking like Him we are quite sinless.
As we depend on our own strength, our our leading, walk our own way it is flesh and always opposed to the Spirit.
Yes, and the way of the flesh cannot win against the Way of the Spirit in battle. We still have the choice, the say, and if we do not choose the Spirit of the new inner man as our Champion, guess who loses...
Boanerges: Is it possible to walk completely in the Spirit and never sin? Yes , Jesus did it to show it was possible.
Amen!
Boanerges: Have I ever met anyone who has arrived at that point- not yet my friend.
Nor have I definitely, but when I was not walking in the Spirit, how good was my vision?
Boanerges: I do believe the day is coming though, when this will be common.
When the night finally comes for those who have rejected what Jesus has provided, they will have not even the foundation... the wood, hay and stubble of them will be gone.

Boanerges: As for now, have any of you walked your whole Christian life in the Spirit sinless before God and man?
If so, please tell me about it.
If one were to truthfully come forward to accept this invitation would it not be because God called him for God's purpose?

Boanerges: As for now, have any of you walked your whole Christian life in the Spirit sinless before God and man?
If so, please tell me about it.
Yes,because those times you were not walking in the spirit you did not really exist in the "whole Christian life".
When we are not walking in the spirit or in the light we kind of drop out of light speed into sub-light speed and the promises of God start to seem far off.
That's just our perspective though,God sees us finished, furnished and complete in Christ because although he designed linear time for this universe he is not caught in it.

Ephesians 2:6 And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
John 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

The one who is seated with Christ is the one who believes on the one whom God sent and he is not made of animal flesh and he does not posses the mind of an animal. He has never sinned and cannot because he was born of God and not man.
In other words "who's your Daddy"?

John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
John 1:13
Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Open the eyes of my heart Lord, helpest thou my unbelief.

satan was never a man , he will never be a man ! the Old Man is our old spirit we put off at salvation ! The New man is our new spirit God gives us at salvation ! But we still have those bad thoughts in our flesh mind !

Act_4:22 For the man was above forty years old, on whom this miracle of healing was shewed.
Rom_6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
2Co_5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Eph_4:22 That ye put off concerning the former conversation the old man, which is corrupt according to the deceitful lusts;
Col_3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

Eph_2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;
Eph_4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.
Col_3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

2Co_5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Gal_6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

God makes Us a New creature , By giving Us a New spirit ! It just like our Lord Jesus , But a baby as any New birth is !

1Pe_1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.

It just what it says ? A new Birth !

Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

GOd is a Spirit , His Holy sinless children are all Spirit beings 1

Heb_12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?

It our Spirit HE Never leaves or forsakes or Cannot Die !

Joh_11:26 And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

Rom_1:9 For God is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the gospel of his Son,

Rom_8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Gal 5:16 This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.
Gal 5:17 For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Gal_4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
Eph_4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
Eph_2:22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

Everyone on earth is a Spirit being as well as all the demons and angels of GOD !

Our Spirit is called the New Man , new creature , Hidden man , inner man, inward man ,Saints! His kings and prophets , His priests Lords ! That each of us !

some of us will be Lords , over a city or cities ! others over Nations [kings ] All under our lord JESUS CHRIST!

Rev 2:26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
Rev 2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.

God given each of us who are faithful , A very high place in His Kingdom ! We might not know it ? But we are living it Now!

Even so... If we are walking along in the Spirit and a question comes to us, from another, which says, "Are you now completely without sin"? Even considering the question may cause the answer to be "no" even though a moment before it may would have been "yes". Is it impossible to be sinless? No, because it is God in us who is always willing to fight all of our battles and He never loses. The difficulty is that we all too frequently quench the Holy Spirit and move again along the ways of man, which remain in us... and when they are followed they always lead to sin. To become an overcomer as Jesus was an overcomer requires us, I believe, to ask for God's help to ask for His help every time we start to step out of the Spirit. Before anyone else says it is impossible to be sinless while we are in the carnal flesh consider Jesus' words "for God all things are possible" and then read also the following verse: Is Jesus a liar? Is Paul a liar? Is God in us doing a work or not? If He is in us then being sinless is possible or He is a liar. That we may not have arrived there yet doesn't make it an impossible goal. God is able to get rid of the ways of man in us, is He not? Praise His name!

In all honesty; do you sin now ? Have you known anyone to live any length of time without sinning. Please think very carefully, thanks.

In all honesty, I do not believe that you should ask a person the first question. If you don't already understand why, I doubt that I would be able to explain it to you.
However here is my answer. I have sinned recently. I do not believe that I am sinning now while writing this response. I hope that I will never in my future quench the Holy Spirit in me making it possible for me to sin again.
As to you second question, how would a person know that he had known a sinless person in the flesh unless God revealed it to him. There is at least one instance of which I am aware where a person had such a revelation.
I did not need to think carefully to answer your question.

anadeus2 : I did not mean to make you feel uncomfortable. I just have noticed several people say they do not sin. I frankly do not believe this because 1 John 1:9-11 clearly says we are not free from sin until we have passed on to our final home. In fact we have sinned at times and are not even aware of it until the Holy Spirit makes it known to us.

Please don't take any of what I have said as being harsh. Blessings, friend.

Sorry if I appeared to take it that way. Uncomfortable I am not, not as long as I am walking with Him. I am a very strong believer that Jesus was without sin because the Spirit of God was in that flesh. We can be the same but we, all of us, have a history of sin and habits (the ways of man) that lead to sin. Jesus had no such history. But... does that make it impossible for us? No, it simply means that more clean up is necessary in us before we can really approach the place that God wants us to attain. It is not out of God's reach unless we use our free will to walk our own ways instead surrendering our will to His. I apparently do not understand I John 1:9-11 the same as you.

Read Romans 6, if we believe this we can achieve this through faith.
