Do you have Holy Spirit and its gifts?

It is obvious from the posts on this forum that many of the members claim to be Christian but equally obvious is the fact that many lack the gifts of holy spirit listed in 1 Corinthians 12:

7; But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

8; For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

9; To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

10; To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

11; But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

I've previously written I've got the gifts of wisdom, knowledge, faith, discernment of spirits - but I've no gift of tongues or interpretation of tongues. I've had my knee healed by others but I don't think I can heal physical problems.

I had a breakthrough a few days ago in which i was able to see clearly that a demon is making both my ex..and me, indirectly, depressed. So i told it to leave her alone, and i have been feeling better for several days now. People accuse me of having a soul tie with her, but if she eventually turns back to Jesus because i keep casting demons out of her, then its for the better. Doesnt affect me at all provided i stay ahead of it.

As a result some other spirits were not happy about that and 3 of them harassed me a couple nights ago, for the first time (that strongly) in a couple years.

Im beginning to better trust my discernment which extends into the hidden matters of the heart. As in, a persons intentions

If you remember the parable about the sower and the seeds it wasn't just talking about faith as the word faith, it was talking about us receiving the Holy Spirit. Which is also faith.

To receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit your heart must be fertile with love. The love that's in your heart is like rich ground to grow in, but the more Harden your heart is towards God or towards others the more hardened your ground is to grow in.

So a person can receive the baptism of the spirit and not really even received the gifts of the Holy Spirit because their hearts are hardened against things like not having any forgiveness in them. Or being proud. Things like this will stop you from receiving the gifts of the Spirit. Even though you've been baptized in the Spirit.

It is why I always tell people you must forgive the Catholics for whatever offenses that they have done to you or in general you must forgive them. And the Catholics must forgive the Protestants because without having the openness of God's love within you you will never receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit either.

In Edifying Meetings the Kids are Edified by our "Abba Father/Daddy, Jehovah" in also receiving the Gifts and operating in them.

I would just like to point out that we should never put God in a box. After all all you have to do is look at John the Baptist when he was still in his mother's womb. And the passage that goes with that that he was filled with the Holy Spirit already.

The Spirit of God goes where it wants to go not where we think it should go.

Even when a prophet does come these days, when God sends his Prophets. Nobody listens to them. Because they think they know everything. Look at this whole Forum right now there's very little actual discussion going on it's more like I know everything and you don't know anything.

I think the biggest error that Christians have right now is the fact that they don't know how to receive the gift of the Holy Spirit even if they think they do. And if they do receive the baptism of the spirit suddenly they feel that they have a knowledge of everything when they don't. LOL so the problem that really stems from all this comes with the area of discernment. The people do not know how to listen to the Holy Spirit even when they have the Holy Spirit

Amen. We will assist them to Testify on how we got it. I got it just as those in Pentecost. I got the desire to have it and a Brother told me to "wait on it" till it comes in Power. And it happened exactly like that. God can never change. But what is important is to have that "desire" only God can give.

And if they do receive the baptism of the spirit suddenly they feel that they have a knowledge of everything when they don't.

I totally agree. When I received the Holy Spirit I was preaching "powerfully" because I was a Reverend in the Dutch Reformed Church in South Africa. Preaching on apartheid being from God. Oops! And then the Holy Spirit told Me I am a Baby of God and have to drink My Milk and finish it in Ministering on only Milk of God and nothing else because I don't know yet about anything else. And that I did for 3 years in that town till they were tired of me and asked me to leave. And then I Lived in the Milk of God as my Only Life I had for another 5 years before Dad moved on with Me. To take me to Adulthood and Being a Bride to Him.

The people do not know how to listen to the Holy Spirit even when they have the Holy Spirit

Yep. The Holy Spirit will only give them Milk. And that they don't want because their pride blocks them from accepting they are just "Babies of God" in strife.

I totally agree. After I sold all my possessions and gave the money to the poor i "thought" i will now go and play the lotto and God will make the balls fall right for me. To keep on being a "Tata/Father" in the community where He told me to sell my possessions and give the money to their poor widows and orphans. And it never happened. And I stopped being a "Tata/Father" in honor in this community. And my Life came to an end. And I was totally at the end of my faith too. Because Paul said He was a "Father" and I thought I was too. Because He "should know". And I had an orphanage for 10 years where I provided as a Father for them in working hard for "my house" to provide for them.

In the place of the lottery and its meager life in money which I could give to all to stay a "Tatta/Father" God gave me the Soul of a Wife and Mother. In being Woman and Equal to Him in Character of Adult Life. But of course not the same in Function and Ability. And He also gave me the Revelation on our Perfect Son, Jesus. To give birth to Him and raise Him as His Mommy. And hundreds are seeing the Truth. Jesus has to be born as any other Kids. From His Parents. As Scripture said. Where Jehovah spoke about His Mothers. From the group of Believers. God can never change. In giving Himself a meager life. While He showed us family life is His Way for all living beings. Even flowers.

And then with the last Person in place the New Jerusalem of God is now being Established on earth. Which is God's Family Life. The Vision and Dream of any father and The Father.

Bill, I doubt there are any true prophets on this forum, although that begs the question what is a prophet.

It may just be that a forum such as this attracts the marginalized thinker and the NPD people, because the loons have no other outlet in which to express themselves. I mean when sitting around in the mental institution one can't just play backgammon all day. (Nope, sorry, don't speak from experience - just observation.)

Now with regards to my posts, I rarely if ever post something about which I'm not 100% sure. If I might be wrong, why open my mouth and prove it?

Well your hen clucking obviously shows a lack the gift of Love as a fruit of the Holy Spirit, and your continued accusation that I'm calling Jesus a liar, when the truth is the exact opposite, proves a significant level of self delusion when believing that ....

This actually addresses an important topic and major concern in the modern Pentecostal Church; the claim that if there is no evidence of speaking in tongues, then there has been no impartation of the Holy Spirit. The problem arises since every example of any baptism in the Holy Spirit is always accompanied by a speaking in tongues.

And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.​
