Do You Watch Horror Movies?

Horror ? just stupid senseless nonsense, people love this rubbish like stupid moronic fiction.
But i do have an interest in things that are of worth, like if there is something of worth educational wise. like Dracula, ( nosferatu ) the point of the story from the beginning, but nowdays it's so far removed it's just stupid rubbish.

How about the lord of the rings rubbish ? i like the Gollum dude as i just see him as funny but the rest of the story i don't understand, it does not interest me at all, but when Gollum comes on i take an interest as he is just a joke. and i can't get interested in the rest of the story at all, so i don't even know what it's about, as i just bores me so much with rubbish like that.

Do you people like the Grinch that stole Christmas or is that to horrifying, i think it's one of the best shows for a non believer to come and understand. or even Narnia, the Silver Chair comes even some way with opposing evil, while it maybe to scary for some to watch, but there is a silver lining in it all, worthy of some worth.

I haven't watched a horror movie in a long time. I started to lose interest in that stuff sometime after I came to Christ in 1983, when the Holy Spirit started to work on me.

One thing we have to remember is that we are at war with Satan. He's going to use any and every opportunity he can to drag us away from Christ and to cause us to sin, doubt God's word, and or hinder our testimony. We, as Christians and those who are Non-Christians, need to fight tooth and claw to avoid letting Satan get an advantage over us, although we also remember that It is the Lord Jesus Christ, not ourselves, that makes this possible.

Take the subject at hand, scary movies. Watching a movie that's a scary isn't a bad thing. However, becoming over-addicted to scary movies can cause someone to become overstimulated with the feeling of fear, which is one thing that can harm us if we are living in it. God programmed a respectful fear in of of things that are to be respected, such as poisonous animals or fire, however, that fear was designed solely to protect us, not to drag us down because of entertainment.

Another thing about scary movies is that they are downright demonic. Why else would Satan tempt movie creators to use demonic-looking or down-right demonic characters, other than to make you more comfortable around demons, if not think their something cool and trending.

I only like watching ones that have a good plot to them, and ones that are very interesting. The saw series, hellraiser, friday the 13th, nightmare on elm street were good ones. Halloween is overrated. A few other ones that i like would be High Tension and Martyrs. For anyone who has a week stomach, I don't suggest you watch Martyrs.
