Dear Farout,

Just to let you know i am not KJV Only, neither do i in any way condemn for the older women to teach the younger women. (which is good: how to keep home and love their husbands etc)

But the position of pastor in the church is not for a woman (the husband of one wife)

Now the main point is, is that Kay Arthur has signed in full agreement to that ecumenical compromise treaty and she supports it -that should give you a MAJOR Red Alert! BIG Time Warning! Sign as to what she is doing (maybe she is doing that unawares but nevertheless is Promoting ecumenical compromise, and this in any way is pure evil!)

i have shared my warning with you and you should not defend Kay Arthur in any way! lest ye share of and end up in partaking of her ecumenical compromise together with her!

Ask The Lord for Discernment!

Stop reading the materials of Kay Arthur! Do not support her!

And besides that Catholism is not just another denomination (if any man think that) as mind you: It is completely FALSE!

But according to Kay Arthur Catholics are supposedly part of the body of Christ as she would refer to Catholics as "Christian brethren".

2 Corinthians:
14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

What has Catholicism to do with the True Gospel of Jesus Christ?

If to think that there is any unity between those is saying hello to the devil and darkness and welcoming them into the sheep fold!

Further i would like to point you to the fact that Kay Arthur signed in agreement with this:

The Manhattan Declaration

is an ungodly manifesto, contemptuous of the blood and righteousness of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is an ecumenical treatise, complete with a Romish gospel and shot through and through with popish error. Those evangelicals who have authored this document and who have led the way in signing it show themselves to be in rebellion to God. It is, in their case, a brazen manifesto of treason against the Lord Jesus Christ. And they are not friends but rather are enemies of Christian liberty in that they disobey and provoke the Author of liberty with their spiritual fornication, even wresting His word and corrupting His blood-bought church. It is the biblical duty of all faithful Christian pastors to stand against the evangelical authors of the Manhattan Declaration and all evangelicals who sign it or promote it in any way. Such betrayers of Christ and His church must be separated from and called to account by all faithful Christian ministers and people. (Quote from: Ralph Ovadal)

Why would anyone want to defend someone who signed something alike of that?

DutchChristian: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all men will know that you are my dsciples if you have love for one another." John 13:34,35. NASB

The only shows I really watch on tv are reruns of Touched By An Angel and Seventh Heaven. I also watch joyce meyer and john hagee every once in awhile but that is mostly it besides a few movies.

If i would watch something on the tv (which i do not have on purpose) i would never watch something from false teachers like John Hagee, Benny Hinn or Joyce Meyers because they are false teachers.

Watching tv can be a dangerous thing.

Television program = Tell A Vision -programming of the mind to think a certain way. Tv mind programming goes and is most always opposite and against The Lords Way! With the filth of this world!

Romans 12:2

Cable and satelite tv evil worldly mind programming and pleasures and worldly entertainments do not belong inside The Lords Camp

God Bless us all to be able to go without tv,

Eh I watch internet Television... but I still put all the time. I don't have cable or anything like that, honestly now a days its a waste of money in my opinion.

Anyway I watch mostly science fiction TV shows (stargate, fringe, farscape... etc) and documentaries ( I have a weird obsession with food documentaries..)

HI :)

Dutch: Kinda of a harsh statement about TV. "Cable and satelite tv evil worldy mind programming and pleasures do not belong inside The Lords Camp."
For those who do not want a TV in their home that's fine and I respect that choice. However you are assuming that those who have a TV are watching the wrong programs, and they have not enough stamina and morals to be selective in the programs they watch. Should anyone not be able to make appropriate programing choices then it is best to shut the TV off, or remove the TV all together.

We have a priviledhed personal responsibility that God has given every individual, it's called free will, We can use that will to make sinful choices, or we can use our free will to glorify God. With our free will if we seek to please the LORD in whatever we do then we are not open to other's finding fauly.

As far as "God Bless us all to be able to go without tv." is a rather back handed pat on the back. Dutch, you seem to always see the evil in most things. I tell you that many of us that think for ourself, are able to select TV programs that are Lifting the Lord on high. Primarily we watch Christian TV and we are very selective in the programs we watch. We have been blessed by solid Christian preaching. There are programs about Christian History, reports about the news by a christian perspective, as well as Fox news. We are able to see places in the World that God is changing lives, and see where Christians are suffering and need prayers and help..

I could go on and on, but that would seem like I was trying to get you to rush out and get a TV. Actially I am trying to justify why having a TV is not evil. Guns are a instrument used for good, but in a wicked persons hands it can is used for evil. We can say that about most anything.

I find when we use words like many, always, is like, and connecting sentences with a slant that can not be open for dialogue. Example "Tv mind programing goes and is most always opposite and against The Lords Way! With the Filth of this world!" Where do you allow me to dialogue that you just might not have a correct opinion? The meaning I get is that you are unmoveable in your opinion, and it is not open to dialogue. And I will respect that .

Closed minds in areas that the Bible says to be unmoveable must be obeyed. In Romans Paul tells us that if you believe something is a sin ( as you believe the Bible directs you)
then to do otherwise it is indeed a sin. But we each are accountable to our masater the Lord Jesus Christ. We each as individuals are held accountable for what we do as well as what we don't do. I respect your opinions and my desire is that we all do the same.

My family doesn't watch TV. We have a tv...though it's size is equal to/smaller than our computer monitor...we just don't watch it.
We occasionally turn it on during the Christmas season, but only once-or-twice IF we know a good Christmas show will be on.
We did turn it on last night to watch the radar of a tornado coming through our area.
But that's it. Couple times a year...not a significant amount to even mention, hardly.
We do, however, get on the internet and watch movies/shows on YouTube more frequently. But even that constitutes less than 1 hour a day average.

As for my views (which are extremely influenced by the views of my parents), 90% of the content and media available on TV isn't worth watching. At least, it's not worth my time when there are other and better things I could be doing. And there are is a lot of stuff that plain and simply isn't Godly or Biblical...stuff I don't feel comfortable watching, even if I DID have time.
When it comes to news and weather, we normally get ours on the internet because it's easier and faster...instead of waiting for the top of the hour when the news finally comes on, or whatever.

So, yeah. Pretty much anti-TV in our family.
