Ok.ALL those who hold to women can be called as pastors and elders would be a single NT verse to support that notion, but there are none, so base their rationale upon contemporary cultural norms and practices

Simple answer from the bible would be that woman are not called to be Pastor nor elder in local assembliesWhoa there brother. Fact-checking the Holy Word with the Holy Word shows that judges and prophets are leaders in the church. I remember that when David was asked to wear a crown by people, the judges and prophets insisted that Israel the obedient church already has a King, the LORD. That David and later Solomon wore a crown and took on the title of lower-case king does not change the Way the Truth and the Life. (Look at the Books of Kings lol). Judges and prophets are leaders in the church, just like pastors, ministers, evangelists, and bishops, brother's keeper, and whatever other titles the LORD of lords, King of kings, and GOD commands.
KJV 1 Timothy chapter 2 is the proper response. Women shall have no authority over men, so they cannot preach, nor baptize, nor presume to preside over the congregation. Why this thread is ongoing makes me lol like Elijah versus the cult of Baal.
This isn't about the nuances of the words "preach" and "teach" and "testify", this hamster wheel is an attack just like how the Serpent did to Eve in Eden.
Filter your water, pray over your anti-parasitic nutriceuticals, and let us fast for a month, @everyone.
Nah? Fine.

Works, not justification.I do not have to believe anything.
I believe simple. Others say if this is right, this and this must be right.
I do what I believe. I do not believe in a book of rules . I believe in 1 rule...
Love your neighbor as yourself. Feed Those who are hungry and homeless.
Every passage and verse states to us plainly men are to be the Pastors, overseers, and Elders of local churcheschapter and verse
I don't really live by ancient texts. We live in a nondiscrimonatory country so, ancient Texts do not fit this mold.Every passage and verse states to us plainly men are to be the Pastors, overseers, and Elders of local churches
Christians know creation has a Creator, and we live and die by God's Word. Sometimes what God says is written down somewhere Lol. And once you know this, you are responsible for that information.I don't really live by ancient texts. We live in a nondiscrimonatory country so, ancient Texts do not fit this mold.
And they are, by Christ's standards, doing something wrong to themselves and humanity at large. Fatherhood and Motherhood are natural world things, and also two different responsibilities with the same supernatural origin and goal.I see many women preachers. I'm a woman and I feel a calling. I'll describe my callings...
The "no questions or rules" part is why you are damned to unsatisfaction. I mean, look at the density of elements for example, and in the mirror. Have you read Genesis chapter 1 recently? That was a question pertaining to universal lawThis is how a calling works.
No questions or rules
You just go or you don't
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and there is no other path to Heaven that promises this with any surety (Apostle John's journal, 14:6).I don't believe there's any certain path, it's just when your heart hears the people cry out in pain, I feel it inside and I want to help. If it's a call to power, you won't be asking. When a calling happens, the road is paved already..?
Do you see the bible as being inspired and authoritative? Do you hold to the Fundamentals of the Faith?I'm going to give you my opinion .
I believe in nature. I believe that God created the earth and that all food was given this way. I do not believe in Science. I hear your Science interpretation of an an ancient text and your explanations do not leave room for my beliefs. If you believe in science, you can't believe my way. I believe in Creation.
I understand both worlds but I gave up Science because when I was 7 i did t believe it in School. My father said I didn't have to believe it , so I didn't. I used my free choice. I chose it.
I'm not trying to down your beliefs at all. You create your own collection of beliefs.
Essentially, my father was lost. I'm hunting his relatives. I'm sharing MY beliefs that align mostly with his. It's like a puzzle with a piece missing. I'm trying to see where I fit. I'm not trying to judge your beliefs. Sorry.
IF one is a Christian, the bible would be seen as being inspired and authoritative scriptures to us from God regarding all doctrines and practicesI don't really live by ancient texts. We live in a nondiscrimonatory country so, ancient Texts do not fit this mold.
I see many women preachers. I'm a woman and I feel a calling. I'll describe my callings...
Once, I worked a job and they embezzled. I was bookkeeper for state Medicare. I became a whistle blower a divorced under cover 2 years. Then litigated several...and eventually the government Insurance program "The Equitable " died. My life was in danger, Col. ALLISON at the Whitehouseoved my family to an airbase to live.
This is how a calling works.

What is this way that you speak of?Christians know creation has a Creator, and we live and die by God's Word. Sometimes what God says is written down somewhere Lol. And once you know this, you are responsible for that information.
And they are, by Christ's standards, doing something wrong to themselves and humanity at large. Fatherhood and Motherhood are natural world things, and also two different responsibilities with the same supernatural origin and goal.
The "no questions or rules" part is why you are damned to unsatisfaction. I mean, look at the density of elements for example, and in the mirror. Have you read Genesis chapter 1 recently? That was a question pertaining to universal lawWe invite you to read and ponder that, with (New Testament) James 1:5-6 for proactivity.
The Lord Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, and there is no other path to Heaven that promises this with any surety (Apostle John's journal, 14:6).
Genesis chapter 1 is a perfect example of where one's natural inclination of caring for the world at large comes from.
Also noted that twice you insist on taking action without question, yet the third mention is your end punctuation mark. Animals have instincts, but humans have discernment. And that is what Christians know to be a gift of the Holy Spirit of God.
None if this is a so-called random chance and chaos with nothing but oblivion to show for it - this is a lie of the Devil, (and his followers disguised as lower-case gods) who is also a quite real being intent on confusion and destruction. Such is the case in point by Genesis chapter 3.
This is probably a barrage of data for you, so I'll stop here so you can ponder and meditate on asking God about Jesus Christ and any other things anyone ever wonder about. Peace be with you. ️
Then you're not a Christian if you don't.I don't really live by ancient texts. We live in a nondiscrimonatory country so, ancient Texts do not fit this mold.

That's the problem. You believe what God and the Bible say or you don't.You choose your own beliefs. I choose mine.
I feel it too. There's so much confusion. But here's why. That's the problem. You believe what God and the Bible say or you don't.
"Cherry picking Christians" aren't going to end up in a good place.
Repeating what the Judge said is not judging.
We are told HOW to and WHY.
We are also told to avoid those who preach/tell a different Gospel.
Ex: People who think there can be LGB+ "Christians" in unrepentant sin.
God and the Bible said "No." to women as leaders and of authority over men in the church.
If you or anyone else has a problem with it that's a You problem.
If you don't like what I or someone else repeats what the Judge has said then that's a You problem.
Secular thing? The secular world doesn't care about Christians or a "woman's career".
Bill satan quoted scripture to Jesus when he tempted Him.....Was he right? The scripture was out of context when satan used it, and it was out of context whenMay Jesus fill us with this love.
After reading what I read from him that you quoted and now reading your post, you just made me laugh basically.
You ask him to tell you what the Bible says, after he quotes you scripture. I think it's a matter that you're not willing to listen to in the first place.
As for the word churchianity , I have to even look that up to see if it is a word. LOL. You remind me of some of those youngsters that come up with words out of the blue that makes people scratch their heads.
Sincerely, bill
Bill satan quoted scripture to Jesus when he tempted Him.....Was he right? The scripture was out of context when satan used it, and it was out of context when our friend made his remark.... Read it and see....For the context you have to back up almost five chapters...Keep in mind that a text without a context is just a pretext....a lie. Not saying our friend lied but he IS believing something taught by demons...thats something we need to avoid.May Jesus fill us with this love.

Of course the 'Catholics' have an iron in the fire....Many many Romanist are born again Christians. And trutthfully ordinary Christians have some weird beliefs too....We don't jump on them, Why jump on the Catholics?I wonder if Catholics have an iron in this fire, considering that marriage is not something that they allow for their priesthood.
Yet, they do allow nuns to teach in their schools, that would include both males & females. (Heavy sigh).
With the Love of Christ Jesus.
