If you Judge
And I charged your judges at that time, saying, Hear the causes between your brethren, and judge righteously between every man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him. Deut 1:16
Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy. Proverbs 31:9
Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. John 7:24
And said to the judges, Take heed what ye do: for ye judge not for man, but for the Lord, who is with you in the judgment. 2 Chron 19:6
Judge Not
Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Matthew 7:1-2
And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye? Or how wilt thou say to thy brother, Let me pull out the mote out of thine eye; and, behold, a beam is in thine own eye? Thou hypocrite, first cast out the beam out of thine own eye; and then shalt thou see clearly to cast out the mote out of thy brother's eye. Matthew 7:3-5
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven: Luke 6:37
But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man's judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but he that judgeth me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then shall every man have praise of God. 1Cor 4:3-5
Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in his brother's way. Rom 14:13
Consoling Scripture
For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things. 1John 3:20
Example of a possible poor Judgment call based just on our knowledge.
I might have thought that the Pharaoh who held Israel in bondage was totally responsible for his actions if I had not read in the scriptures that GOD had harden Pharaoh’s heart. If GOD hadn’t said so how would anyone know, but we cannot blame GOD if we judge poorly when he tells us not too.
And the Lord said unto Moses, When thou goest to return into Egypt, see that thou do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in thine hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go. Exodus 4:21
And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt. Exodus 7:3
