Great poll hadirfuss, my answer is yes to both questions. I believe Christ will return in my lifetime and I believe we are in the end times

I remember being in church when I was 19 (I'm 54 now) and this man stood up and said that God had given him a vision and that Jesus would be coming back to get us within the next 7 years.
Anyhow, I think that things are not nearly as bad as they are gonna get. The world is not in complete chaos, we still enjoy a lot of peace and security, for most of us our families and ourselves are healthy, we have a lot of freedom to pursue our dreams, and we are not being forced to worship some god we don't believe in.

Absolutely!!! I believe we are living in Matthew 24 times. Has anyone heard of a Jesus Miranda, who claims to be the second coming of Jesus?? He has millions of folowers. Yes, the enemy is not hiding anymore. he's exposing his dirty laundry and not ashamed of it. But the Word of God declares in Romans 5:20 But where sin increased, grace increased all the more. Praise God for this forum!! and brother Chad.

Although I voted "yes" which is true anyway, each day passes by is one day closer to "end times". I must point out that I think people thought of end times more deeply and sincere say in the midst of the two world wars or even the great depression, or civil war? Just an idea.

A verse of interest i came accross

I voted that only God knows the end times. But, if you read Revelation and Daniel, a lot of what was prophesied is comming to pass. An example is Israel being jewish again in 1948. Also, the hatred of jews by muslims around israel. I believe that the dome of the rock mosque could be the 'abomination that causes dessolation'.
I comepletely agree here. As far as "End-Times" I sort of think Christians need to be careful of pushing that so hard
If we end up being wrong it just gives non-Christians a reason not to believe. I try and live my life like it could happen at any moment, but thats really the extent of it. It is alarming to me the amount of talk there has been of certain bible prophesies that seem to be coming true, but during the 7 day war it was like that too.

I don’t think we are living in the end times. I’m still waiting for something HUGE to happen, that would turn a lot of Christians away.. Maybe some
“(( proof))” that indicates that everything we believe in is false… founded by scientists!!!… breaking news headlines all across the world!!!.. Something that will shock Christians.. And turn a lot of people away from Christ.. A faith tester! Perhaps…? Could happen.
I think that (in the end times) there will be a small amount of Christians. It wont be as nearly as common and strong as it is today. The world will be corrupted and in a very bad way.. Morals and ethics will be a thing of the past…….
A lot of people will be under Satan’s control.

Right now, at this point of time, on Earth, we are doing ok. Well, I think we are. The world isn’t as messed up as it has been in the past.. And its not even ‘close’ to as bad as its gonna to get!!!

Jesus could return return anytime and itd be really sweet if he did in my life time but only God knows what hes gonna do...

I voted Yes in the poll but if Jesus returned in my life time I would be pleasantly surprised, I'm 51 years old.
For those who think that Jesus could return anytime now, I would ask the question;
how much Biblical prophecy remains as yet unfulfilled? About 25 years ago some were saying about 30 percent. Now some scholars say about 20 percent. For arguments sake lets average it down and say 25 percent. That' still quite a lot of unfulfilled prophecy. So I don't see the Lord coming say, next Wednesday. In by gone centuries Christians sometimes changed their theology to fit in with their expectations. Trouble was their expectations didn't fit in with the Lord's prophetic clock. Lets face it, Christians have been calling the market wrong for centuries and will probably continue to do so. What I would suggest for anyone who really interested in Bible prophecy is get some highlighters and highlight all the prophecies that have already been fulfilled, and then highlight all the ones yet to be fulfilled. Then you would have a better idea of where we are up to concerning Biblical prochecy.
But what I believe is of the utmost importance, is to fulfill in our own generation what the Lord has called us to do; because that is an important part of Biblical prophecy too!!!

No disrespect intended GIRL, but are we living on the same planet?
Live to the best of your ability in Christ each day and trust God's will and promises for the future. It doesn't make a difference whether the "end times" are today or tomorrow if we are living in Christ. His will be done in and through us. It is not I who leads one more to Him before the end, it is He who draws one more through Christ in me. Not one who is His will be left behind, not one task will be left undone. Our life with the Eternal Father is being prepared. Victory has already been promised to us. It is not OUR work.

I have to disagree. I don't think we are in the end time just yet if only it happen in a few hours or the next day or a few years form now so the end times is not on this exact moment for right now because the bible says that nobody will not know when Jesus is coming back and Jesus dose not know when he will come back so we should worry about right now but not for the next the day, amen!

Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times?" Matt. 16:1-3
For me, the big sign happened in May of 1948 when Israel was born again. That was the first big one. The people explosion in China is another sign. At no other time in history could a 200 million man army march out of anywhere.
