I am a Messianic Jew with no great knowledge of my birth religion. There was a war going on and Jews seemed to be in disfavor. Persecuted,beat up by groups daily I became an angry evil person and was going to have somebody killed to receive over $1 million. God intervened to spare life and put me under intense pressure so that I for the 1st time called out to the God of the Jews, Muslims, Muhammad, Krishna, Buddha, spaceships, and everyone else I could think of and at the end I called on Jesus. Although I was in jail I was released the next day. Instead of giving 17 years in prison I got 6 months in a work release program. After a very large story which I will not go into now in a series of events which were supernatural I cried out, Who are you GOD. I was standing on the sidewalk with nobody closer than 100 feet away. Immediately somebody right behind me said try Jesus. I spun around to see who spoke but there was nobody there. I looked at the sky and said, Jesus is that you. suddenly it was as if somebody poured out hundreds of gallons of oil. warm oil and it flowed all over me basking me in its warmth and love. That was 38 years ago + or _. In the last few years I have worked with and travelled with an Apostle from Tulsa, Ok. area and more recently a true Prophet from Ghana whom God sent to the USA to wake up the churches. Now I am seeking God, spending time with Him and waiting on Him. I believe I have a wealth of experiences that can help others. I am a dual citizen of Israel and USA

I feel very blessed to have you here Steve. Your story is an amazing journey of grace, love, and the Holy Spirit. That being who talked to you on that day and poured out love to you, was a real person. John 14:26. I do indeed believe that God loves each of us as if there were only one of us, and you are seen by God Steve! You are a vessel whom God will use to save His children! Keep listening to His words for you, keep using your experiences and trials to teach others, because you are fighting the good fight. We are very happy to have you here Steve.

I've already had the pleasure of reading some of your writing here at TJ. :thumbs_up Kind of in the reverse in this. Normally the welcome then the reading of their postings
I would say you are not an average man by your testimony. Not that I would call any Brother or Sister in Christ Jesus average.

About 15 years ago, a radio station I used to listen too, carried a Messianic Ministry called CJF Ministires in San Antonio Texas who you might have run into in your travels. If not you might find them of interest.

Brother StevenElijah. First welcome!! And second thanks for just a part of what the Lord has not only done for you,but is continuing to do in your own very life! I know things are not easy,as we believers always seem to have more questions then answers.But as you yourself found out,as well as many of us here, Jesus is not a myth, nor is Jesus away from his people!Many times we feel as if that which we pray is not heard,many times we feel as if we have stopped moving in our Lord. For to follow is moving forward always in our Lord( exodus 14:13-15!!)

We learn my brother that in order to follow we must act on that which we in Christ truly believe. We first must learn how to follow,then after learning we must always practice in the doing part!(James 1:22) For a man who is moving towards something must understand both why he is doing this,and for what purpose,or what result will follow from his following? Hence the Body of Christ here! I am led by the Lord to speak on such things to us all,for there are many sheep,but few shepherds of the sheep.The race we all run is the very same,however the weights upon each of us in that race can be very different as you well know!( 1 Cor 9:23-27)

So it is not odd at all, that before Holy Spirit was to fall in the Book of Acts,that Jesus took his disciples,breaking bread with them,he asked Peter a question not once but three times. DO YOU LOVE ME??( john 21:15-19)) verse 19!!!! FOLLOW ME!!! This kind of following is required for us.( Matt 16:24-26) We need to all be reminded that our feeling do not lead to our faith in our Lord Jesus,but rather HIS WORD in us confirms to our mind, just how are feeling are suppose to act! A renewed mind!( rom 12:1-2) Done only through a Jesus giving us all the grace in him, we will ever need! But to have this grace he freely gives we must take it.(Psalms 103:8-17)

As we indeed take this,we give this to others,not in judgement,but in the very same Jesus asked of Peter,DO YOU LOVE ME?? Jesus did not come to judge the world,he came to save it! We in Him follow.We present God's Own Word with every grace given, just as we ourselves received such grace! ( john 12:45-50) We can speak of God's own Love because Jesus first loved us!( 1 John 4:17-19) May every blessing befall thee my brother,may every grace be given unto you,so you can follow in this,to bring others out of darkness into the very light that shines within you!!JESUS!! amen!
