"And the tax collector, standing afar off, would not so much as raise [his] eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, 'God, be merciful to me a sinner!' Luke 18:13 NKJV

Staying unshakably connected to God means understanding that your loving heavenly Father desires to shower His grace and mercy on those who humbly confess that they are sinners who are lost without Him.

Jesus told a story about two very different men who went to the temple to pray. One was a local religious leader, and the other was a much-hated tax collector. The religious leader used his prayer to thank God that he wasn’t like sinners, while the tax collector confessed that he was a sinner and begged God for mercy. Jesus told His followers that it was the tax collector, not the self-righteous religious leader, who was justified before God.

Christians should always have the same humility the tax collector showed before God. That means approaching Him with a contrite heart and teachable spirit. Coming to God this way will put you in a position to receive His wonderful mercy.

Prayer: God, thank You for Your gift of mercy when I come to You with a humble, contrite heart. Help me never to think of myself as better than anyone else but instead as a man who needs Your mercy every day. Teach me to understand that Your ways are always better. Teach me to have a humble heart and known that You are my loving and merciful King.

Dear Brother,
Whenever I use God, the intent is all three.
For some odd reason folks have a difficult time grasping the Hierarchy of the Godhead.
They believe that if you use/say God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit that somehow, it's three different God's and that if the Godhead is Hierarchical then they all can't be God.
Maybe, it's because the only way we relate to things is through our own experiences, which have never reflected/seen a perfect relationship outside of the very one they critique in God the Father through God the Son and vice versa.

So, I try not to get too involved in the back and forth though I do observe its happening.
My job I guess, and one I would consider a labor of love.

Appreciate you Brother.

So True.

As saved believer, we have this hope in Christ for each and every day for why sinners should also have that same hope in Him to deliver them from their sins and not just to give them eternal life by believing in Him.

We all need an occasional reminder from the Lord of why the Good News is about Him and not about us.

Whenever any phenomenon comes about because of the focus on the Holy Spirit in worship or the phenomenon causes the focus to be on the Holy Spirit in worship to seduce believers to seek those visitations of signs and lying wonders to come again, this is why Jesus says to strive ye to enter through the straight gate, the Son, in coming to God the Father for anything or else risk being left behind when the Bridegroom comes.

Luke 13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able.

25 When once the master of the house is risen up, and hath shut to the door, and ye begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying, Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not whence ye are: 26 Then shall ye begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in thy presence, and thou hast taught in our streets. 27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity. 28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out. 29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God. 30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

The indwelling Holy Spirit is still pointing saved believers to come to the Son in coming to God the Father by to avoid the spirits of the antichrists whereas the spirits of the antichrist would take that focus away from the Bridegroom.

This is why many believers are in iniquity and falling because they did not heed His words.

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: 14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. 24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock: 25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock. 26 And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand: 27 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

May the Lord Jesus Christ help us through the holy Spirit in us to keep our eyes on the Bridegroom for He will be coming soon for the abiding bride of Christ.

As saved believer, we have this hope in Christ for each and every day for why sinners should also have that same hope in Him to deliver them from their sins and not just to give them eternal life by believing in Him.

The average person especially in these “USA” has confirm, Why would they need Jesus, JESUS for people who need a Crutch.

They got every thing they need, nice family a nice bank account , a nice home paid for, vacation home, Few cars and trucks, good health, nice job, I believe in GOD! “God” blesses those who have their own or who help themselves. they say!…..They got all the God they need. They are bless right here on earth and satisfied. The majority of people a know is like this! And happy with the life style they have! and thank GOD everyday!

They are not confused and they are content.

What you are describing, reminds me of the church at Laodiceans;

Revelation 3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

It is no wonder why any saved believer that loves this life more than Him, do not want to leave it behind when the Bridegroom comes to take what few there are that are the abiding and willing bride to the King's supper above.

Luke 14:15 And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God. 16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many: 17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready. 18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused. 19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused. 20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come. 21 So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind. 22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room. 23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled. 24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.

Thanks for sharing. Certainly signs of the times for why we need His help to be ready and willing to go when the Bridegroom comes.

Christ came to save sinners of whom Paul is chief. Therefore Christians are not perfect but that is what discipleship is all about, moving on to perfection when trusting Jesus Christ to finish His work in us to His glory , including us in reminding saved believers that are in error, that they should expect pruning in their walk with Him so that they may bear more fruit in the knowledge of Him.

Well, we can thank the Lord Jesus Christ that they trust you, a Christian, to tell them the truth and love them with Christ's love too.

Now, I am going say this again in Blatantly “American English” because it seems you do not understand a kind English language!

I have said many times but it seems you are Consistently attacking Me with a label I have openly deny many times on this channel!
How dare you call me a Christian, next you will be burning “Qurans” to, and attacking “Islam” and labeling them Christian’s! I hate when a American Christian, attack another's “faith”just like they attack the “Indigenous” American people!
I am very offended by you labeling me what I am not! But you would get very angry if I called you a “Dog”! because you are not a dog! And I ain’t a Christian !

Like I told one person do you Treat “The Holy Islamic people” the same way, and call them “Christians” and they believe in Jesus?

I am going to be kind, don’t call me a Christian again. And don’t treat me like one, because I am not one!

And you can never tell Me who I am, because you ain’t GOD! Neither are you ! my creator.

I would never call you, a. “Muslim” because you Describe yourself as a Christian, I don’t!

All Religions and the demons, believes that “Jesus” existed!

And that is all I have say about that. For I am not a expert in “Religious Studies”! For that is not my field of Study.

For I do try to “Stay in my “Field of “Studies”! That is “Theology Proper”, if you do not know what these terms mean, look it up, every detail. To be “Well Equip”! Look that term up too, there is a definition to for that term! Before you start guessing again what words and “Terms” are.

PS. An “Atheist” is The Head of “The Chaplains Department at “Harvard”! And I am, Quite sure as a Christian, you know The History of “Harvard”.

“love The LORD thy GOD with all of Your Mind, soul body and Strength” All of your MIND!

PS I have Absolutely nothing against Christian’s I do not like the Hypocrisy! In which many of the people of this world are Guilty, for Hypocrisy does not come in Religion only.

If you see that as attacking you, it is no wonder why you feel threatened being called a Christian since Christians are killed overseas for being Christians. I apologized for any unwarranted animosity by your fellow man in your country.

Your "Christian postings" and your quoting N.T. is misleading, Sir. Muslims do not quote N.T. nor believe them to be scripture and so I do not know why you would if you denying you are a Christian.

One could say you were deferring from the label of "Christian" as it is used today since it can represent that which does not represent your belief even though you appeared to be a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.

But I stand corrected, and I shall no longer call you a brother nor a Christian.

If you wish to avoid the hypocrisy of what you see Christians are in, may I suggest you stop with your own? I do not care if you wish to hide it under Theology Proper, your posts are not referring to it as if it is not your own personal belief.

Clarity is needed in your postings from now on or you will continue to mislead others into thinking you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ who does not like the title of Christian too, as I did, for wit you lose your temper and feel the need to be angry in your posting in correcting others again in denying Him when you have no one to blame but yourself for not informing you are merely citing things "properly" in according to a belief system not your own. Capisce?

But I understand now, but I do wonder how many others are not still under the impression of your personal beliefs as "Christian" when trying to cite things properly in according to what you deem is "true" Christianity to call Christians hypocrites.

Leave a disclaimer in each post when you do that for new members coming in so they will know. Plus, it will serve as a deterrent from any locals in your area of accusing you of being a Christian and killing you wrongly for it too.

Please do not make that mistake again.

And one more thing, who do you think you are? To Suggest something to me!
I rather take the Advice of “Demonical demon” than from You!

Your Quote:

You lucky, l am kind to you:eyes:
I ain’t no lap dog and show ain’t No “Junk Yard Dog”! You can put that in your your pipe and smoke it!

That if you have a pipe, like the Indigenous used to smoke. “Peace pipe” was it “Wacky tobacco” they smoke? Or was it “Loco weed”?
Notice I did not say “Local Weed” I said “Loco weed”. there is a difference for your information.

“Larry Moe and Curly” always always and always are trying to “High Jack” threads with the sole purpose to Redirect into their beliefs which they think is Incorruptible and “Theological Sound”!
And Neither one know what a bible is unless they “Google it” and get the information from a corrupted Institution. Empower by what:eyes: “ Santa Claus”?

It's as if you two have chosen sides, and strangely enough are showing what would happen if the individuals of this devotional were to have actually have talked/interacted with each other!
One the religious leader the other the tax collector. Neither of those were Christians yet sought God but from different standings in life.

It doesn't get worse than that, because those who don't seek to be identified verses those who are, in truth are not that far apart at all.

(21) But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, (22) even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference; (23) for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, (24) being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, Romans 3:21-24 NKJV

To be able to explain to each of you, about each other (heavy sigh).

Before you all get to posting more, I'll leave off more of what I was going to say, that you may consider your standing not in life, but with God and Savior Jesus Christ, and how He would want you to do in following His Way verses man's.

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

He added to that post of what I had already replied to earlier and so I understand your reply is for me not to respond to that addition to his earlier post which you may have seen as the original post.

Pretty sure I would not have replied further, but thanks anyway, brother.
