Hey,
I read this and must let you know that the miracles of God never stopped, and that Jesus is returning. It's up to you whether you believe others' testimonies which are direct witness of God The Holy Spirit, God The Son--Jesus The Christ, and God The Father, but many of us have seen God move, and in many ways.
What might be common to you may be miracles for others, and not that alone either. I have seen God move many times, and it's always undeniably God.
I cannot tell you the kind of pain that God has been leading me through. Words cannot express the deep internal pain within that only God can heal. I assure you once more that God's miracles are far from being over. I'll begin with this understanding: i'm breathing. I've been dead twice, yet I am here and now communicating with you. That is not all, either. This forum actually has a record of some instances where I was suffering so deeply that I had to put it somewhere. It is a record of my suffering without God's presence. It's very different now. Many people have left testimonies of God's grace and mercy in their lives on this forum to encourage us all.
Do you remember how John The Baptist said 'I must decrease, but He must increase'?
John prepared the way for Jesus, so that His people were ready to recieve Him. He was a light who testified of Him who was to come, and before Jesus came, there was John to whom many went and learned from, but he was humble and faithful, and he knew that God's people could not depend on him for but a moment, and he was increased as the forerunner for Jesus Christ for but a moment, and he decrease when Jesus came.
His ministry prepared the people that came to him to recieve Jesus Christ, and he knew that nobody could continue to seek him for answers and teachings, and that is why he was important as the forerunner, and when Jesus came he became less important, and Jesus became more important. His ministry was fulfilled and now God's people were seeking Jesus Christ for God The Father and not him. John became less important and God's people stopped going to him.
Would you believe it?
Some time later into the ministry of Jesus Christ, Jesus is washing His disciples' feet! He's washing their feet. He, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, and the only way to the Father, the only truth and the only life, is washing His disciples' feet.
Would you wash my feet? You may need to get on your knees to wash my feet. Will you do it?
My pain became so terrible that I was completely beyond human aid, and then Jesus showed up and called me out of darkness and into His light. Psalm 18:16
The scriptures are not about who is right or who is wrong. It's a love letter from our Heavenly Father to us, and He reveals to us exactly who He is, His nature, and His character.. and His eternal love for us.
He is the only One who fills that space in our hearts.
It's easy to write people off and esteem ourselves as being right within ourselves, but God's nature and character is agape love, unconditional. In the transition from the old to the new there is a moment where we are so sure we're right, and then we learn from God that we're wrong.
If I say I bow to Christ, but then I come forth into the religious battleground (which is ignorant of Jesus) and I spend my time dismantling others and engage myself in arguments of what is or what is not, and this behavior is consistent, then I can be sure that I am still 'in transition' and I need more time with my school master, because I am a disciple, but if I graduate school, will I then go back to that school later on to argue with the teachers, or will I accept that the teachers also have a teacher?
God gives us space and provision and time and His Word and His Spirit and His Son,
Should we not extend the same grace and mercy to our beloved brothers and sisters (ALL human beings), and be an example of what God would have us to represent for Him, or should we lay traps and throw nets and weave webs to catch others to take account of the errors in their words?
The 'Sword of the Spirit' was not meant to be swung at others so liberally. If a soul is killed because the one who weilds the sword does not know how to use it or even to understand what it is for, how is that different from killing a person in the world?
God's Word was not given to us to swing at others. It was given to us to separate our own selves from our own sins, so that we could enter into God's Presence.
