Heaven and Hell

I asked you why YOU... do not believe what Peter said there in 2 Peter 3:9, I've already well shown that I believe what Peter said, but now you are trying to be even more... sly to hide that you do NOT believe Peter.

So WHY don't you believe that 2 Peter 3:9 verse as written?
Because I did not believe him in

Matthew 26:35,70,72, and 74.

Me I cannot tell you what makes God give us mercy.
It's easy, He is doing it because that was and is His will. It is done for the sake of reconciliation, which is what the gospels all about. Reconciling ALL
back to Himself. Through Jesus.
Nobody makes Him do anything, He does it freely. GRACE

Meaning no disrespect, but I am wondering, to what degree, do you actually believe this,
and if you do believe it, why do you believe it? And if I presented undeniable proof, that
proves otherwise, would you change what you believe?
Bring it on I could use some help on this subject. Stiff necked and hard of hearing are most but if the hidden manna has not been earned they will
never see it.

You do realize that rejecting what Peter said there in 2 Peter 3:9 means you are rejecting God's Word, right? Even though Apostle Peter is not our Lord Jesus, still Peter's words there are God's Words because they are Holy Spirit inspired, and 2 Peter 3:9 is only one Scripture witness.

Every word is established by the mouth of two or three witnesses, Apostle Paul said (2 Corinthians 13:1), so here's another witness to what Apostle Peter said in 2 Peter 3:9...

1 Tim 2:1-6
2 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3
For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
5 For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
6 Who gave Himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.
KJV

That does not mean all men will accept God's Salvation through His Son Jesus Christ, it simply means it is HIS wish that all would... come to repentance and be saved. It's the same idea Apostle Peter said.

More Bible Witnesses:

Ezek 18:21-23
21 "But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all My statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.
22 All his transgressions that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.
23
Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith the Lord GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?"
KJV

Ezek 33:11
11 Say unto them, "
As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die, O house of Israel?"
KJV

I realize that you do not know
that what you think you know

is not
true.

"God wants everyone to be saved. He isn't willing that any should ( go to hell or the Lake of Fire ). But people reject God/Jesus by their own free will."

This is so far from being the truth, it is laughable.
Where do I even begin?
Let's start with ...

God wants everyone to be saved.

The truth is if God wanted everyone to be saved
He would save them.

Are you actually going to believe
that God cannot save them all?

I realize that you do not know
that what you think you know
is true
is not
true.

Believe what you want, because you have shown that you don't really TRUST what The Word of God says as written. So what you say is just a bunch of hot air, meaningless tripe.

I have shown,
that I don't really TRUST
what is supposedly stated as The Word of God
as written by men who claim to be this or that of God,
like they are doing today.

I am doing the very same thing Jesus did

back in the day.

Man was not made for the Sabbath.
The Sabbath was made for man.
Therefore man is the Lord of the Sabbath.

And if you believe the truth is hot air
what is that to me?

Even with later corrupt Bible translations like the NIV, which is from different Greek texts than the Traditional Greek text, one can still come to understand what God says, because He covers in His Word two or more witnesses to a Truth. So even with all the many Bible translations available today, there is no excuse to not study and become a 'workman' in it like Apostle Paul said to Timothy. And I can tell when someone is trying to pass off balderdash when it actually shows they haven't really studied their Bible that much.

Your... word, is what is hot air.

That simply because you reject Scripture Witness of what God said through His Apostles Peter and Paul, and also His prophet Ezekiel, as I have shown in my previous post.

It is your word against my word before the Lord.
I know who is going to prevail.

My post
Ephesians 1:9 Having made known unto us the mystery of His will, according to HIS GOOD PLEASURE which HE HATH PURPOSED IN HIMSELF:

MY first take is who or what could/can override the will of God? Now if your answer is nothing, thats a good start, now ask yourself has God revealed
HIS PLAN to you? Do you know the mystery of HIS WILL?

10-That in the dispensation of the fullness of TIMES(death periods) He might gather together in one(spirit) all things in Christ, both which are in heaven
and which are on earth; even in Him:

Do these verses lend the possibility that our choices can override Gods choice of us from before creation?

11- In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being PREDESTINATED according to the purpose of HIM WHO WORKETH all things after the
COUNSEL OF HIS OWN WILL.
12 That we should be to the praise of HIS glory who FIRST TRUSTED IN CHRIST.

Why are we the first to trust in Christ? Because it is Gods will? YES
Why then do others not yet trust in Christ? Same reason it is Gods will for now! ROMANS 9:15-19
Will they some day trust in Christ? YES! As EPHESIANS 10 tells us He will gather ALL things together IN CHRIST when the TIMES have been completed.

Your literal lake of fire is actually the crucible of earth that creates the sons of God. Those necessary ingredients are the carnal mind as your enemy,
along with the beast (government), the false prophet (religions), death,(fear of that keeps you in sin), hell(the grave). All these are reassembled in the
second death to produce the second group of Gods sons. Just as all are present here now to produce the first fruits.

"Our GOD is a consuming fire" To what end? That your dross will be consumed by His righteousness through the experiences He puts you through.

To what end? That you would be a son that He is proud of, even though He is the one who produced His character in you and for you so that His glory
can reside in you, and you would possess all the fullness of God. Thus a true son of the living God. Eph 3:19

Now if He can do this for me, why not for all? After all it is He who does whatever He wants among the world of men!

I would call that GOOD NEWS (Gospel) for ALL.
I am the Universalist here that BAC speaks of , thus I asked you to pitch in with whatever support you may feel inclined to share.

My main verses are Romans 5:18 and 1 Cor 15:22-23 and 1 Tim 4:9-11 though there are many many more.

Why do you care about
Romans 5:18 and 1 Cor 15:22-23 and 1 Tim 4:9-11

Its difficult for me to imagine this is a fruitful conversation, but that being said, when pink floyd had a whole concert venue mock God chanting "what God wants, God gets". I can assure you God was not pleased.

I agree. This guy does nothing but provoke and provide no input whatsoever. So I will bow out.

However; you should note that God does not get provoked by the ignorance of man. Jesus did say that all sin against Him and the Father would be
forgiven, Indeed it must be for God is love and love does not seek its own, is not puffed up, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil, rejoices not in iniquity
but rejoices in the truth, bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things, and NEVER FAILS.
1 Co 13:4-8 Mark 3:28

I do understand how you feel in that by them mocking Him you felt mocked. But that should only tell you you havn't arrived yet at the place where
mocking you actually won't have any affect on you. Jesus died for those that mocked Him. Can we do the same?

And besides it only proves they do not know God, yet.

I do understand how you feel in that by them mocking Him you felt mocked.
nah, just a bit saddened.

i'm still looking forward to reconciling with a person who should be in prison, and people can't understand that either.

That seem to be a beautiful description of reasons for when He does decide to give of His blessed Grace.

But He does not always give Grace to everybody, That judgement belongs to Him, there is a lot we do not know that He knows
like the heart of a person, all the secrets hidden in the heart of a person. And He knows the future.

There is no way we can evaluate or overrule His decisions. And since we know He is the One Who is Good, we would not want to
even if we could.
