Hello Everyone!

My name is Mindie. I live in California, just a short distance from Chapman University. I attend a Church in Santa Ana, which is a Hispanic based church. I am not Hispanic but ever since I can remember, all my friends were either Hispanic or African American. I have always been surrounded by culture and later I realized that culture is a part of me. I love culture. I love missions and God had called me to the missions field. I know where, Africa, but I don't know when.

I love the Lord with all my heart and I cannot wait until the day of His return. I don't believe in focussing too much on denominations. I believe it's about your relatiosnhip with Christ. We are all part of the body.

I hope to make new friends on this forum and meet new people. I love chatting and discussing.

So what about you? How are you today? In which ways has God blessed you today or this week?

Hello Mindie,

Welcome to the forums sister :)

Hope you enjoy the site, and yes I agree that denominations should not matter. This ministry is non-denominational.

GOD bless

Hi Mindie,

God calls us to his church, that's universal, combining all types of denominations, some theologically better than others I suppose.

I'm in a Presbyterian church right now. I can't say that I am in complete agreement with all their rules and orders but as long as my church preaches Jesus Christ and from the Bible, I am O.K. with it. I probably wouldn't mind looking at a non-denominational church some time, but feel I'm where God wants me right now.

So, I agree with you on having that personal relationship with Christ as the utmost importance. In fact, I tell my Sunday School Class ( Jr.& Sr. High) as a Christian there are three things that are more important than anything: You, the Bible and the Holy Spirit!

Welcome to TJ!
