I asked Father just before I wrote the previous post, He said His name is: I am.
But you are right they are all united into One, they way I have been taught by God is since The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, and will act in total accordance with the will of God it is One with God, for a similar reason Jesus is One with God since He did/does the will of Father, and Father is well pleased with Him.
So there is no power struggle, since the will of the Three is One.
We who choose the light are actually also light in the Lord, light in the body of Christ as is written here
Ephesians 5:8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light
But it easy to forget about it, to fall back into a false belief that we are flesh, but we are actually light in the Lord, at least it is for me. It is about lack of purity. At least it is a good thing to be aware that we are sinners
1 John 1:8 If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Ty for ur God seeking heart on our behalf! Praise Jesus for this! We are standing by our conviction to not to follow our son into including his partner. He has chosen to not include us now.
We have a peace though that passeth all understanding! God's sweet peace. We will continue to offer and show His light and pray for our son and his partner to be saved.
Sadly he has chosen death and darkness! We do have moments of sadness and greive our loss and his lost state. But we will not stay in despair, for His Word, Spirit and truth will guard and guide our steps. Please pray for our son Sam to be saved.
