When compared to eternity, something that usually lasts 70-100 years may indeed seem like a silly game. The fact that this brief period determines where you spend eternity gives this life literally infinite importance.
You get one eternity defining choice in this life. Everything else is a temporary vapor that disappears. If God sees you busy rearranging the furniture on the sinking titanic He may knock you on your butt to get you to focus on finding the only lifeboat available ... Jesus. Be thankful that He thinks you have enough chance to make the right choice to nudge you.
As a kid in Canada we are eventually taught French as a second language. French has accents on certain letters and I didn't like it and categorically refused to use accents. After failing French for a while, I accepted that like it or not that's the way French is. We stupid humans can't fully understand God's creation. He tells us Jesus is the only way to the Father whether we like it or not. Like I once was to the French teacher's eyes, to God we are proud, silly, arrogant, rebellious... to reject so great a salvation. Hebrews 2:3.
Only you can choose. The kind people here spending pages hoping you (a stranger) choose wisely suggests which choice leads to the light.
