Hi, I'm Chuck Moreland

Although I was raised Lutheran, I really came to know God during a revival meeting in a little country church in 1979 at the age of 27. My wife and I were baptized arm-in arm a few days later. I was ordained as a minister of the Gospel the next year.

My theology is close to Freewill Baptist and I hold to the full Gospel in that I believe that all the gifts of the Spirit are still in operation in the Church today. I also hold that the speaking in tongues is not a requirement for having the fullness of the Holy Ghost.

I am currently a Bishop in the Celtic Anabaptist Communion and an itinerant preacher.

Welcome to our family Chuck! Your background fascinates me. To hear that you made such a bold choice to become a minister a year after baptism is amazing. We hope to see you in the chatroom and around the forum sometime! God Bless!

It might not be so much of a surprise- The Pastor and elders of the Lutheran church wanted me to go to seminary when I was 16, but I declined the offer then.
