On saturday I am going into hospital to have my tonsils out.
I have never had an operation before and I am becoming very anxious about it. I know that God will be watching over me but I just need some prayer.

Please Lord watch over me, bless me with a speedy and safe recovery.
I pray and ask you Lord that you will give me the strengh I need to get through the next week or so.

Amen.
 
Father, I join hands with my sister asking that you remove all anxiety..give her peace.
Because she is in your hands, your blood is upon her, a child of God, royalty.

Lord bless the hands of the doctors and nurses. Let your healing hand be upon her during her recovery.

Bless her Lord.
May the Father;s peace be upon you.
 
Father I thank you that we can come boldly to Your throne room of grace. I pray that You will keep my sister in Your peace that passes all understanding as she keeps her mind fixed on You. I pray that You will guide the surgeons hands as he performs this operation and that all will go well and she will have a speedy recovery knowing that You are holding her hand all the time in Jesus' name and for His glory amen.
 
I just want to thank you all for your prayers.
I have to say although having my tonsils out was not a nice experience I did continue my prayers until I was put to sleep and I felt an amazing closeness to God.
When I woke the doctors said that my body was reacting well to all the medicine and I feel amazing!!! although I am still in a little bit of pain I am up and walking around and doing day to day things which isn't’t what the doctors expect for a few days.

I continue to feel this very strong closeness to God and I know that He has been with me and answered our prayers and wanted to thank you all for your prayers that I know helped during my time of need.

God is wonderful!!!
