How do I become truly “Born again"?

I have thought of myself as a Christian since last year, but knew that something was missing -

I just consiously opened my heart up to Jesus, repented of my sins, and felt His peace come into me.

I know now that I have been born again.

Maybe this sounds weird, but I believe the reason Jesus talks about born again, because he was referring to a real spiritual birth. As in our physical birth there was an egg and a *****. The egg was conceived by the ***** and out of that a human being was born. Is it not possible that in the spiritual realm the principle is the same.
The seed (Jesus) conceive our spirit, after repentance and washed by His blood, and out of that a new creature is born. A spirit of His Spirit, now we not created like Adam and Eve anymore but begotten out of God. That separates us from all creation, like the angels, and Adam. God took something and created them, when we were spiritually born He took of Himself (His Seed) and we were born not created. That is why we have a perfect new spirit that never sinned and will never sin, except that this spirit lives in the carnal body (the old Adam) that still has the nature of sin. That is why Paul talks about the new man and the flesh or the old man. This is just a lot of thoughts please do not crucify me

Praise God for another soul won for Jesus. The angels in heaven rejoice when a person is born again.

Now you can have that personal relationship with Jesus.

This is the beginning of a journey and there is a lot to learn. We never stop learning while here on the earth.

Try to find a good place to fellowship. One that teaches the Word and is alive in the presence of the Holy Spirit.

In the flesh, we are born with a spirit as well as a soul and a body. Our spirit is not formed when we receive Christ as our Lord and Savior.

Simply put, being "born again" means that we have been given a new relationship, a much closer relationship, with God that was not available to us through our natural birth (See Jn 1:12-13).

When ,we hear these others? Then ? We get confused,Not that All scripture is not true! All is true,But It seems odd to us to see these different scriptures ,because they reveal Truth ,We never saw before?
And we must put it ALL together in our minds to make one perfect picture!

People are alive in the flesh ,but dead to GOD in there spirit!Because of sin!

Have you turned to Jesus in repentance and surrendered your life to Him?

If so you could start to read the gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John) to find out more about Jesus....His ways, His love and His wonderful truths.

Well, i lived in in a village here in Savelugu and i have been in a Moslem Community, even here we do not have Churches more than 3 and i have been a person not into religious and i see Many White Men coming to our village bringing people to the Christ and i decided to be part of the Christianity because i can see people here have been committing sins and i know i have committed sins too and i want to be forgive by GOD, we only have 2 Churches here in our village and Frankly, i do not have BIBLE yet and i think it will be nice to have one and may be through reading the BILE i can get knowledge about GOD and is there a way for me to get a BIBLE and learn

Don't hang out with people who discourage you, and are very cynical. Any old mule can kick down a stall, but care is required to design and build one. Jesus Christ is the baptizer in the Holy Ghost. He is doing a careful and perfect work. Give Him honor, and separate your spirit unto His. That means neglecting some old attitudes, and some people who will try to dissuade you!

Absolutely! I sat under a pastor who taught me humility and servanthood. I met him in bible college and walked away from ordination in a small denomination to be under his ministry and leadership. The church was located in the inner city of Atlanta. We dealt with many people who lived around the church and many street people. These people find themselves unable to move so they just exist there. We provided food baskets and clothes for many families and blankets and coats for the street people during the cold nights. I was responsible for the food and clothing bank and spent much time at the Atlanta Food Bank. Many a saturday was spent taking older ladies to the grocery store or putting up ceiling fans. This is just a small amount of ministry that went on during the 10 years the church was located there. What attracted me to this pastor was his humility and obedience to the Lord and that he is one of the greatest teachers of the Scriptures I have ever met. We eventually had to move too far from the church, which is the reason we left.

Your statement about true obedience being rooted in humility contains a depth of meaning. I have also found a great deal of humility among the monastics I have met. Their lives are centered in prayer and service having renounced everything for the Lord.

Salvation is Not about us being obedient. It a free Gift He did for all mankind willing to accept His life giving Blood.

look I believe in obeying our Lord as much as we can ?

But if we are not hearing Him ? How will we obey Him.Following some other person who says they know , how we must serve our LORD is a lie.

Joh_10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

Our is a One on One relationship forever more. Many will be left at the catching away . Because they followed mankind and not our LORD JESUS.

Rom_4:5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

1Co_3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
1Co_3:15 If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire.

Many tell us we must follow pastors or popes or books or religions or others?

Our LORD says to follow Only HIM.

God got really upset with me once for following a pastor when I first became Born again.

I will never forget that times and will never follow any person on earth . No matter how great they sound or what miracles they are used for . but each of us must make that decision ?


Some think the commentary they read has the perfect answers to all words . Not truth .

God gave each of Us a Part of His very being too know truth and the Correct understanding of all scriptures and anything else we might need to know of life in the flesh or the spiritual trues.

It appears to me ? People want to keep others in bondage to them . when our LORD came to set us free of all bondage 100%

Joh_8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Jas_1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.
Jas_2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

1Pe_2:16 As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.
2Pe_2:19 While they promise them liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage.

I found to know the freedom He given us ? Makes us want to hear and serve Him more perfectly .

Act 15:29 That ye abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if ye keep yourselves, ye shall do well. Fare ye well.

Gal_4:26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.

If you are born of God ? and walk in your Spirit ? You will not sin ever .

Our spirit hates sin ,just as much as our LORD JESUS.
