So the people of Israel followed all of the LORD's instructions to Moses. Then Moses inspected all their work. When he found it had been done just as the LORD had commanded him, he blessed them. Exodus 39:42-43
Today your wife may want a heartfelt Valentine’s Day card and a beautiful bouquet of flowers. More importantly, do you know what she wants every other day of the year? Yes, your wholehearted love, respect, and gracious manner with her.
Even more importantly, do you know what God wants every day of the year? Yes, your wholehearted love, obedience, and worship. That’s what makes today’s Old Testament Bible reading so incredible.
Repeatedly, you discover that God’s people did two things. First, they gave generously for the construction of the Lord’s tabernacle. Second, they carefully did all that the Lord had commanded.
On the last day of his own life, Moses longed for these good old days. He told the people: “And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you? He requires only that you fear the LORD your God, and live in a way that pleases him, and love him and serve him with all your heart and soul. And you must always obey the LORD's commands and decrees that I am giving you today for your own good (Deuteronomy 10:12-13 NLT).
In your own life and experience, don’t waste these days!
Prayer: Lord, transform me. Transform my heart, soul, strength, and mind. May I live sold-out for You all my coming days.
