And, no, I'm not from Texas... Ohio, actually... Sorry! Haha. Anyways, I found the community through Google and thought it would be a nice place to surround myself with other followers of His word. Though I have left Christ for years at a time, He has stood by and been there when I opened up my heart again. I now stand as a 24, almost 25, year old male with a faith and purpose stronger than EVER! Praise be to the Lord for taking away from me a life of alcoholism (about 5 years), smoking (7 years) and a multitude of other behaviors that were destroying me from the inside out. Christ truly is the Way and the Life! Glory to His name!

As a young man my life went in a really wrong direction yet God in His infinite mercy reached down to the very bottom of a dark pit and pulled me back out. We cannot help but be grateful and everytime we think of it joy overflows our soul.
Truly we serve an awesome God!
