I hate myself and worry all the time

I dont know how to change. I dont know how to love Jesus. Ive prayed so many times and they have been answered. It seems like anytime i pray or anytime i ask people to pray for me they all get answered. I dont know how to let Jesus in. I know i have to be the one to do it but i dont know how. Maybe i dont trust him? I know that because ive heard the gospel so many times, ive had my prayers answered, im gonna go to hell and its gonna be worse for me than anyone else. I struggle with this every single day. No one understands. I constantly talk to God in my head but it dont help. Please if you comment or start a conversation with me, dont be mean or judge me. You keep telling yourself that you're going to hell is based off of what?
That you're a sinner? Yes? Well, guess what? So are the rest of us.

"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:" Romans 3:10
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;" Romans 3:23

So, many people believe that somehow they have to be cleansed of the sin that is in them before they'll be accepted. Because we have done, thought or said this or that He won't accept me or has rejected me. This is not true! It is true that the sin in us is death and hell, but that is why Jesus died in our place so this would not be so and that we'd have Eternal Life in Him!

"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
"For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." Romans 6:23

Knowing that we could not do it on our own He provided us a way!!!!! That way was Jesus! Repentant and Believe in Him Jessca!

"That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Romans 10:9
"For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Romans 10:13

We find it so hard to accept this unwarranted love of God!!!! It's like we can't accept that it's by what He did on the Cross through His Grace, that Salvation is there. It's like we have to do something, anything, then we'll know for sure that we are Saved!!!

"But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:4-5, 8-9

That you might understand a little what Grace & Faith are.

Grace: good will, loving-kindness, favor: of the merciful kindness by which God, exerting his holy influence upon souls, turns them to Christ, keeps, strengthens, increases them in Christian faith, knowledge, affection, and kindles them to the exercise of the Christian virtues

Faith: the conviction that God exists and is the creator and ruler of all things, the provider and bestower of eternal salvation through Christ

He has been calling you for a long time, and just as there is a God that wants you. There is a Devil that doesn't want you to know him!!!! This is who has been putting the very thoughts that have been haunting you these many years! DON'T LET HIM HAVE YOU!!!!!!

For Jesus is calling you Jessca!
This is surely between you and the Lord Jesus Christ! But you have those here who are praying for you!
Fall on your knees whether you have done it or not and pray that He come into your life! That you repent of your sins, believe that He died on the Cross for them and Rose on that third day and even now reigns in Heaven!!!!!

I pray that you might find this not as a chance occurrence but one of design. That God has chosen you to call at this very moment to be one of His Children through Christ Jesus. In his Holy Name I pray this for you. Amen.

It's not you who does the changing, but Jesus who does the changing in you!
What you just posted is another way of saying "I must do this or that before coming to the Lord".
Coming to Him, is trusting that He will do it all in and for you!

• Everyone you calls on the name of the Lord will be save ...You are doing that...not saved from sinning but saved from the consequences, just like Adam and the rest of us!
• Doing all the above, you have Jesus living in you...you are "Born Again"...once born of your mother and , now, born of the spirit in Jesus Christ.

Hello there,

You sound as though you are your own worst enemy. Your feelings and fears are getting the better of you. You are not alone in this, we have all been at this point at sometime in our lives.

You need to take your eyes off yourself and how you feel, and simply trust God to do what He has promised. He loves you dearly, and you are His workmanship. He has begun a good work in you, and He will continue to do it, until the day of Christ. That is assured. Your salvation does not depend on you, but on the sacrificial work of Christ your Saviour. He wants you to have assurance and joy in Him, and that comes by resting on His promises, and ceasing to strive in your own strength.

Let go, and Let God, Jessica. For the work has been done. You are His.

Read Ephesians chapter one, and look at what He has done for you, in Christ Jesus, and rejoice in Him, Give thanks constantly, and bring all your worries to His feet, and He will provide.

You need the assurance of full understanding, which comes by reading God's Word, and knowing what He has done for you, in Christ Jesus.

If you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ as your Saviour and Lord, then you are His. Nothing can take that away: you have life through His Name. If you only know that fact, and rejoice in that, moment by moment, you will know His peace. When fears come, turn your mind to God and praise Him. Praise Him for the breath you breathe, the life which He gives you moment by moment, for the ability to see, to smell, to taste, to love and be loved. But most of all trust Him to keep His promises.

Don't try to change, He has accepted you in the Beloved, just as you are, and in His sight, you are Holy and without blame, in Christ Jesus. For He has given you His righteousness.

Hey Jessca95. I am so sorry that you are having such a hard time. I can't imagine how you must be feeling. I just want you to know that I am praying for you and I hope that you get the answers you are looking for. I pray that God brings you some peace and clarity.

Jesus wants you to come to him as you are and lay down your worries and concerns. For me it was something that I had to let go of entirely. It's a lifestyle change. You have to be willing to let him change your heart and the other things will fall in place. For me I was out in the world, clubbing, smoking, drinking ect and once I really truly turned my life over to Christ, none of that stuff felt right anymore. When you let God take over, those things that are hard to change in you just won't feel right anymore and you'll be changed. I can't explain it exactly but it just happened. I hope this makes sense and helps you. I am praying for you dear<3

Find a quiet spot, maybe in your bedroom and shut the door. Turn off all distractions, music, tv, phone etc.

Kneel down and pray which is just talking to God.

Say to Him...

Heavenly Father I come to you in Jesus name who died on the cross for me. He was raised to life again. You changed Him from glory to glory. Please Lord change me. I place my sins before you at the cross (you can name what they are...worry, hatred etc) wash them away and make my heart clean. I trust you can change me just as Jesus was raised. Help me to live a life for you. May it be so, amen!

You believe Jesus is the son of God so your not going to hell even if you think your already there so to speak , your not and your struggle is About yourself Not him.
Forget about trying to love Jesus its not about you loving him its about God loving you through Jesus .
He loves you and he saved you.
This life is not easy for believers or unberlievers . God is the saviour of all people especially those who believe.
Quit trying to love God theres no need as he loves you.
Once You allow yourself to be at peace not try to love you will just be.

One of the issues I see is that you are living in bondage to untruths:

• You DON'T change yourself, he changes you!
• 1 John 4:19 “We love him, because he first loved us.” I can tell you how to now / realize this!

Romans 8 is an amazing chapter of the Bible! It is full of God’s life-giving promises for disciples of Jesus. It teaches us how to tap into the electric current of God’s Spirit and resurrection life. Eighteen times the Holy Spirit is named in this one chapter! The other 15 chapters of Romans only name the Spirit 10 times. I agree, Its kind of starting kindergarten level but hey. We have to start somewhere...LOL...Try it on...Read the promises out loud. And that with your name in the blank space....

Try renewing your mind on these words from Romans 8 by joining with God and saying these promises from him to yourself (fill in your name where the blanks are):

• There is no condemnation for __Jessca______, who is in Christ Jesus (vs. 1)

• The Spirit has set _______ free from sin and death (vs. 2)

• The Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives in and is energizing ________ (vs. 11)

• _______ is led by God and thus is a child of God (vs. 14)

• _______ can call God “Abba” or Daddy! (vs. 15)

• Through Christ _______ is an heir of God, inheriting divine blessings (vs. 17)

• _______’s body will be redeemed, set free and made whole (vs. 23)
