i want to talk to god

first of all....welcome to talk jesus...
and hmm...well thats a good question..i´ve been wondering bout that myself!!
so i cant really tell u...mybe he gives us people that tell us his answers to our prayers and so...but i have no idea...

i always thought or would like to think that god speaks to us through feelings?? after all arent feelings our true souls language?

Also thanks for your welcome.. i do not go to church or belong to any particular religion but i still believe in god. I realised today that over my 25 years of life i havent had one day that i havent though of god!

hey i believe its through our thoughts and the people he sends into our lives to help us that is how God talks to us cause i ve noticed everytime i get a moment where its just myself and no one else around i begin to think of things that i might have said to hurt someone or of something i should have done that i didn't i believe your heart has to be open to him though because before i rededicated my life i really didnt think of the stuff i did to other people and now my heart is open to him and he knows my love for him that is how he reaches us i think bless you for this question i often wondered myself
 
i went and looked at that site you suggested chad and it helped me understand a lot i ve had experienced all those feelings of knowing God was talking to me and never really knew it was him but i knew i felt loved everytime it happened when i read his word it happens sometimes when i pray and here recently through other believers like me praying for help to find a church he sent someone to me she came right out and asked if i went to a church and offered for me to come to hers and i m also recieving things in the mail from churches. he does listen and he does talk to us. praise the lord and his love. thanks for helping me i know i wrote a lot but i had to get it out bye
 
Hey we had a tornado at our house three weeks ago (God was with us my sister and I were upstairs and we didn't get hurt) but last night we had a thunderstorm, but there was no rain, and I got freaked out so I asked God would send me a sign that He was here with me and it started to rain. I think that God talks to us in several ways and we just have to believe and listen and we will know what to do when the time come. Just keep praying and let God know that you have accepted Him. GBU.
