Jesus hung out with the sinners and tax collectors yes, but I doubt he made it a habit to go to places of sin.
He loves the sinner, but not the sin. It maybe that we go to these places every now and then, but if it becomes a life style...

1Cor 15:33 Do not be deceived: "Bad company corrupts good morals."

Jesus had the strength to resist temptation, I doubt the rest of us are anywhere near as strong.
If your drinking causes others to stumble...
Rom 14:21 It is good not to eat meat or to drink wine, or to do anything by which your brother stumbles.

Eph 5:18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,
1Tim 3:3 not addicted to wine or pugnacious, but gentle, peaceable, free from the love of money.
1Cor 6:10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God.
Rom 13:13 Let us behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy.
Gal 5:21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.
1Pet 4:3 For the time already past is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles, having pursued a course of sensuality, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties and abominable idolatries.

What are your priorities in life? Partying and carousing, or seeking Him and His kingdom first? A drink now and then may not keep you out of Heaven, but pursuing a certain lifestyle will definitely have consequences.

I believe alcohol is called "spirits" for a reason. If you aren't in control of your mind, guess who is...

I see someone said not sure. That is good that we can say openly that we are not sure. This invites other Christians to share their opinion, and even perhaps share why from Scripture. That's how true Christians shoe real love for each other,

I voted yes for the question, "is it a sin for christian to go night clubbing"

I voted with the assumption that going night clubbing will include ALL or most of the night clubbing activities such as binge drinking, raunchy dancing, maybe drugs, flirting, etc.
This does not mean that I think going to a club is a sin. If a Christian person is able to go to a club and not partake of sinful activities, then more power to them; nonetheless, I don't think it's a good idea because we are all prone to temptation.

Greetings in the Lord;
Are you being sent in by God, to a nightclub, to do His will?
Or did you go to satisfy the fleshly carnal will?
The old man is past away; or should be.

Now, I am not saying it is a sin to drink a glass of wine or a beer.
When Jesus and His disciples arrived at the wedding party; they wanted wine.
Jesus mother told Him "they have no wine".
Jesus turned the water into wine. Amen.

When Paul was being brought back to Rome.
The ship arrived at the port and Paul saw the three taverns and praised God.
Paul went in and took courage. Amen.
Paul knew tomorrow he might die; but that night Paul got drunk.

No longer drink water, but drink a little wine for thy bellies sake. Amen.

Do not be intoxicated with strong drink. Amen.

I am not a drinker; however, I do like a glass of wine or a cold beer from time to time.
I don't seek one out for myself, but sometimes I may meet someone who offers, I drink a beer with them and tell them about the Lord.
They tend to pay attention, when you are not in a suit, high minded, and self righteous; use every opportunity to exalt God. Amen.

However, myself would not be able to stay in a nightclub with idiots for very long.
The music is way too loud, they are drunk, and having worldly lust on their mind; who can be a witness in that.
All praise, honor, and glory be to God. Amen.

Paul did not get drunk. To assert he did is foolhardy.

Acts 28:15 The brothers and sisters in Rome had heard we were coming, and they came to meet us at the Forum on the Appian Way. Others joined us at The Three Taverns. When Paul saw them, he was encouraged and thanked God.

Blessings in the Lord
Very sorry to offend you, sis.
It has been awhile since I have read it. That is not what it says. Forgive me.
KJV reads: Acts 28:15 And from thence, when the brethren heard of us, they came to meet us as far as Appiiforum, and The three taverns: whom when Paul saw, he thanked God, and took courage.
Not only did the brethren come to meet Paul, but so did The three taverns.
Paul may have had a drink and he may not; I was not there and neither were you.
What we do know is Paul thanked God that all these people came out to meet him.
Paul not only made an impact on the lives of brethren, but also on the lives of sinners, who hang out in the bars.
And Paul thanked God, and took courage.
You know, those the "house made of hands" will not even go out too. They rather call them sinners and scoff at them; instead of what the Word tells us to do.
You know, being doers of the Word, and not hearers only.

Paul was a mighty soldier for the Lord. Even Paul said; I become as they are. If they are Greek, so am I. If they are Jew, so am I. No matter where he went, he went in God. No matter what he did, he did it for God. No matter who or what kind of people Paul dealt with, he became just as they are, so he could speak to them about the Lord. He did not separate himself from them, and he did not consider himself any better than they were (are). Paul remembered who he use to be, and what the Lord had delivered him out of. Amen.

All praise, honor, and glory be to God. Amen.

Nevertheless, The Three Taverns was a place and Paul was upstanding in his witness, and would not have been drinking.

Luke 12:45; "But if that slave says in his heart, 'My master will be a long time in coming,' and begins to beat the slaves, both men and women, and to eat and drink and get drunk;
Luke 12:46; the master of that slave will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he does not know, and will cut him in pieces, and assign him a place with the unbelievers.

Eph 5:18; And do not get drunk with wine, for that is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit,

1 Thes 5:6; so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober.
1 Thes 5:7; For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night.

Rom 13:12; The night is almost gone, and the day is near. Therefore let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.
Rom 13:13; Let us behave properly as in the day, not in carousing and drunkenness, not in sexual promiscuity and sensuality, not in strife and jealousy.

Gal 5:19; Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality,
Gal 5:20; idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions,
Gal 5:21; envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Pet 4:2; so as to live the rest of the time in the flesh no longer for the lusts of men, but for the will of God.
1 Pet 4:3; For the time already past is sufficient for you to have carried out the desire of the Gentiles, having pursued a course of sensuality, lusts, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties and abominable idolatries.

The simple answer to this for me . LOL Rom 8:12-15 I read much from a disciple in Christ called Smith Wigglesworth. One day the Lord led him to this dance,so he went,he sat down while all were dancing, the fiddler was playing, people were all having a fine time,a lady walked up to Smith Wigglesworth and asked him he would care to dance with her,he replied. LOL I NEVER DO ANYTHING WITHOUT PRAYING,LETS PRAY!! lol

As he began to pray he head a thud,he knew someone had fallen under the power of God,he continued, heard another fall, then they started to all fall One after the other!!! LOL. He walked to where the fiddler was playing on the platform,of course he was down and out LOL,and as they were coming to,He simply said Jesus is not dead as you suppose he is alive and here in me! Many received the Lord that day,and brother Wigglsworth gave credit to both the written word spoken of in rom 8:12-15 and our wonderful Jesus who loves, even when he has no reason to!! Just as we do! hope you enjoyed the true story!

here a different responds if Jesus is beside you would you want to be seen in a night club

My answer: It's to experience life as much as you can before you have children of your own so that you will be able to guide them and be there for them accordingly. You can ask for forgiveness and still retain the knowledge you gain, whether it be a hangover or a dull time. You walk away smarter from every experience~ Perhaps you should bring a friend that can take responsibility for any adversity that occurs.

Personal experience: I usually accompany my friends to night clubs, bars, etc as a babysitter since I don't drink or do drugs. It's a huge hassle for me but I rather spend a night out watching my friends have a good time and be able to protect them if need be than do my own thing and worry.

@Omee-Chan

Okay shall I go along to a night club and do a few drugs, get into a fight, do some sleazy dancing.......just so I can tell my children what its like and also to become a smarter person.

I think not.

The Bible says:

Abstain from all appearance of evil.
1 Thessalonians 5:22

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things
Philippians 4:8

I don't really feel led to go to a club because I feel it takes me away from myself and who God intended me to be.

That being said, there was a time where I felt led to go (though i didn't drink and if i did have one, i normally felt terrible the next day), eventually I realized that there was no point. I just simply didn't enjoy it, I felt like I was becoming less me. The Lord showed me that it wasn't a place that was right for me. There isn't a person out there that could have told me that, I had to be shown.

I'm with shipwrecksoul when he says:

So it comes down to if you are legitimately led by the Spirit of God to go where he sends you.

Just my thoughts:
1Th 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.

What is it that you would be looking for in a night club? Just lost people doing worldly things.
What if by going I caused someone with an alcohol or lust problem to think it is okay and thereby cause them to stumble?
If it's a sin to go to nightclubs, then it's a sin for singles to mingle, for man, through Adam and Eve's sin, has eternally forfeited the Earth as well as the right to live, marry, and multiply upon the Earth, and everyone therefore is commanded to remain celibate.

If it's a sin to go to nightclubs, then women are not human at all, but are Satan's demons wearing human flesh and just waiting to drag men into the lake of fire through dating and marriage.

Jesus isn't just beside me; He is in me, my heart, my mind, my body, my strength; He is everywhere I am. He never leaves me or forsakes me.
I was led by the Spirit one time to go to a honky tonk. I had just left a revival and the taste of a beer hit me; I walked in with total confidence in my Lord. I did not know why I was there yet, but I knew God would show me. Lo, there was the man that God wanted me to witness to. We had fellowship for hours. It was a most blessed evening and I went on my way. Did I get drunk? NO! That is not why I was there. I was on a mission for the Lord. Yep, a fallen soldier was found inside that bar.

Now, if some hypocrite came by and seen me coming out of that bar... wow, what could that lead too?
Look, she goes in among drunkards and sinners!!! Yes, I do; just as my Jesus did, so do I.
What say you? You too good to go and do for the Lord? You believe in HIM or yourself?

All praise, glory and honor be unto God.

It is ultimately the motive of the heart. Secondly, what type of night club are we discussing? Some clubs are drug environments, some are general lounges / dance clubs. Not the same thing.
