You can ask for forgiveness and still retain the knowledge you gain, whether it be a hangover or a dull time. You walk away smarter from every experience~ Perhaps you should bring a friend that can take responsibility for any adversity that occurs.
Personal experience: I usually accompany my friends to night clubs, bars, etc as a babysitter since I don't drink or do drugs. It's a huge hassle for me but I rather spend a night out watching my friends have a good time and be able to protect them if need be than do my own thing and worry.
So it comes down to if you are legitimately led by the Spirit of God to go where he sends you.
If it's a sin to go to nightclubs, then it's a sin for singles to mingle, for man, through Adam and Eve's sin, has eternally forfeited the Earth as well as the right to live, marry, and multiply upon the Earth, and everyone therefore is commanded to remain celibate.Just my thoughts:
1Th 5:22 Abstain from all appearance of evil.
What is it that you would be looking for in a night club? Just lost people doing worldly things.
What if by going I caused someone with an alcohol or lust problem to think it is okay and thereby cause them to stumble?

If it's a sin to go to nightclubs, then women are not human at all, but are Satan's demons wearing human flesh and just waiting to drag men into the lake of fire through dating and marriage.
