What did Jesus say about bearing witness of Himself?

John 5:31 If I bear witness of myself, my witness is not true.

That goes for the Father also but the Holy Spirit does not speak for Himself or from Himself for why He only speaks what He hears in being the Divine Witness within us of the Son of God, the Lord Jesus Christ.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

So if the Father does not speak of Himself and the holy Spirit cannot speak of Himself then when the Holy Spirit alighted on Jesus at His water baptism and the Father spoke from Heaven. the Holy spirit is not the Son and neither is the Father in order for the Father & the Holy Spirit to EACH bear witness of Jesus Christ as the living Son of God.

Do you get that? If the Father is the Son and the Holy Spirit is the Son, then neither can bear witness of the Son at His water baptism for that would be bearing witness of Himself as Jesus said, that witness is not true.

Therefore the One God is more complex than what you seem to be perceiving but scripture gives testimony of the Three witnesses within the One God for how God commands men to bear true witness and what is a false witness..

Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. 9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
