SignUp Now!You seem to not be able to grasp scripture in what it says. It did NOT say a born again believer should divorce its partner who is an unbeliever, it says if the unbeliever partner does NOT want to stay married they can leave their partner free to marry another in the Lord! This part of scripture does not say: you can divorce and remarry. I do know English syntax. English translations are now a dime a dozen. They make them say, what they want them to say, mostly with a slight bias. The original text, when says divorce, it means divorce. When it says bound , bound to what? Does it says it plainly , not bound to what?
What does the “Codex Alexandria” or the “Textus Receptis” says? And what did that mean to the original audience, he was addressing at that time. “It was a letter” to The congregation in Corint.
