PB I have no fear of you, or what you say. "Syntax" was never a part of the original manuscripts of the Bible. Brackets and comas were never there either, so why are so bent on using them? Commonsense is not what interprets scripture as the "natural man" can not receive things of the Spirit of God for they are foolishness to him, neither can he know them. (1 Cor 2:14)

The Holy Spirit which is the anointing is what teaches us all things,(1 John 2:27) not human logical analytical reasonings!

One of the mistakes oft made (too often) is the interpretation of scripture which is not private that is impressed upon a Christian to another Christian. In a sense, how could an English professor expect a child to understand their graduation thesis?

I would remind you both that as Christians in Christ our respective duty to God and to Man is not to needlessly quote scripture against one another, but to build up one another in our Lord Jesus and to admonish one another in the instance of sin. If a dispute arises among Christians over the interpretation of scripture and the use thereof it is our duty to separate our respective ideologies and understandings (which is to say, to put aside ourselves or 'differences') and enter into a discerning discussion. I can imagine the Book scores, that arrived in school when a assignment was given, let alone seminary school, "Institutional church" classes is acceptable, because the Reformers knew this was going to happen, by translating the scriptures into the common man's language, but they thought it still would be faithful for the few, who labor in it night and day. You, know, I remember years ago, when me and my brothers was young. I am 5 years older than my brother, I watch over him lot, he was bad. If he did something wrong , my mother would also whip me too! She always used a belt. She told me why., she whip me too. Now He was Bad, he would make up stuff, so she would, whip me again. But here is what I am leading up to say.

She got those lies out of him! She was whipping, him one day, she was tearing that behind up, with that belt. Mind you, we got a whipping it seems everyday! We had to wash dishes, map floors and wax them, plant flowers, wash clothes, clean bathroom everyday, saturdays clean windows, our house was clean! LOL! Pick up toys when finish playing with them, my brother learn the Hard way, leave them out, My mother would throw them away! And my mother Love her some Jesus! But me and my brother and Father, made her cry a lot! My Father, clean house too and cook and bake cakes and wash clothes too! Hard working "License Millwright". But every now and then he would hit that bottle, and be gone for a few days! He come back, she would make him hit those "knee" and pray and apologize to us. LOL. My mother could pray, and she could sing those God given songs, make tears run down your face! Many Pastors would call her up front to sing.

That was a little highlight concerning her! Now this is where I am going about my brother. As she was whipping my little brother, he called out for me to "Save" him, I couldn't. He look at me! Then he turn to my Mama, and grab here around her legs and cried out! "Mama, I love you", MaMa I love you! From the depth of his heart! Then she replied, "I Love You Too"! That is why I am "tearing your as up"! Then I remember my mother told me, one day, while she was whipping him, he called on the name of "Jesus", stop her in her tracks! A few years ago he talked how bad he was! And a stone fire bug! He said he was bad! I knew it! My Father turn into a full time Deacon, like his father, my Brother for over 30 years a full time pastor who would not take a salary, I introduce him to that pastor and church who was a friend of mines and he didn't want to, and the people and pastor wanted him take over, because the pastor my friend was dying. He would not take a salary told the church to give his salary to the pastor's widow. He lead them to build a 2 million dollar renovation to the church to support the handicapped and the elderly and a kitchen to feed those in need! And Me " a Reformed Theologian"! Who's main study is "Theology Proper". My mother told me how my Father "love to hear me sing "Amazing Grace"! She would say your daddy love to hear you sing that song. I miss my mother, when me and her would talk about God, and she would sit there and cry! She would say to me, you can go! She would say to me, calling my name, you don't know, when you cut loose, you can go! I could see it in her eyes! She would cry out in the house, who are you, how do you know these things, and I would cry out, mama, I don't know! We would have fellowship!

PS and when my Father died I "Eulogized" my Father in my brother church! And I told the truth! Even the time when he was coming home almost falling down drunk, as a little boy, I told him to lean on me! While the neighbors was laughing at him, All those years, when I would get mad with him, my mother would tell me "Chris" that is your "Father"! And he loves you! Don't get mad with him! In his later days he would tell me, he did not know any better, and he said his daddy told him those friends of His was no good to him or his family.
And I remember one day he said to me "your are as good as gold" and son you are heavy". Yes you is! Your brother is on top, but son, you are heavy, you're deep boy"

And my brother "eulogized our mother"!
