I came across an interesting article, and while few here may identify as Catholic, I think everyone might have opinions on the correctness of what’s being discussed, as it’s something that could impact both teaching and learning wherever Catholic education takes place.

Thank you for posting this, @Christ4Ever . In the past few weeks, I have been exploring Roman Catholicism, or as I say with a twinkle in my eye, Red Team. (oh my grieved soul...) I was just about to initiate a post here so I could talk to Catholics about this kind of thing. Sigh...

Why the clergy does not cast out a factual cultist of the actual "synagogue of Satan" before worsening the infiltration is beyond me. In my imagination, The Lord Jesus Christ would have called out the devil in this person then flogged that committee out of town to protect His Church. Even the last Pope needed an exorcism, imho.

That being said, I feel the need to explain myself in that I believe those who love Jesus are on the same side, opposing the appearance of evil. Anywho, I will bring this up to the Roman Catholic clergy when I see them at the next OCIA class. (*Order of Catholic Initiation of Adults).
 
What makes this worse is that she "was elected president of the CBA" not appointed. That means the majority of those voting thought that the fact that she "does not believe the New Testament is sacred Scripture" is just fine to preside over the Catholic Biblical Association!

Where's @Bill ? His perspective would be welcome here.

I recognize the fact that I am a guest here at this website, and I take it seriously. As I have high respect for all the churches that are believers in Jesus.
Just as Jesus said to his apostles who were her trying to stop a man who had been preaching about Jesus and not of their group. Jesus stated if he is with us he's not against us. Or vice versa. I think we need to keep this in mind when it comes to making judgments on others, others who preach about Jesus but may not follow things that we ourselves follow.

This is why I stand so firmly on things like what is really important, why I am so passionate about the core beliefs and primarily love. The first two Commandments that Jesus stated. Love God with all your heart, and love your neighbor as yourself. These two are the most important things to follow, everything else is politics.

Even when Jesus brought about the concept of the bread and the wine to be blessed. When Jesus said this is my body and this is my blood. What happened with the followers of Jesus. So many of them left because they could not understand it. Did Jesus condemn them? The answer is no. And when he asked the apostles are you going to leave too? The apostles did not say that they believed or understood Jesus, they simply said where shall we go.

If a person believes that in blessing the bread and the wine it becomes the body and blood of Jesus. So be it.

We can believe that God can create the world in six days. We can believe that Peter walked on the water. We can believe that God can do anything. Then why is it so difficult to believe that God could create the body and blood of himself within the bread and the wine?

I do not condemn anyone because I am not the judge. God is the judge I am not. It isn't my place to judge you. If you go to church on Saturday versus Sunday so be it but this is not going to cause a person to go to hell or to heaven. It's just a simple matter that that person believes worshiping God on Saturday versus Sunday.

Some will say we follow the word. If so is true we would all be going to church on Saturday. I don't go to church on Saturday, although sometimes I do go to church on Saturday it's not going to condemn me if I go to church on Saturday or Sunday or even Wednesday.

We are all children of God let's think about that.

I wanted to add to what I said earlier.
And this primarily has to do with any church that claims to be a Christian Church. That goes outside the scope of what it is to be Christian.

When a church wants to claim to be a Christian Church, and then teaches philosophy and beliefs that are outside of what it is to be Christian.

As an example, it's one thing to welcome a sinner and try to bring the sinner back to the ways of Jesus and the teachings in the Gospels and the Bible. But it's a whole nother ball game when the teachings are skewed and stated to be other then what the scripture teaches. The primary example I have are churches that accept a person that is homosexual and teach that it's okay to be homosexual. Here they are accepting the sin as part of that person's life, where scripture is clearly against that.

I have no doubt in my mind, that any group, or perish that believes this is not following the teaching of Jesus and the teaching that Jesus shows us it through the Gospels.

Over the centuries we have seen this type of behavior happen over and over again in virtually every denomination out there. I don't think there is any one denomination that has not been affected by these type of schisms that are outside of the scope of Christianity.

Even in today's world, in my own church which is the Catholic Church. We have leaders those who call themselves Cardinals, and Bishops and ministers alike that follow teachings that are not Christian.

This group of characters is much like the way of the democratic party is today in the United States. Because the Democratic party of today in the United States is not the Democratic party of my parents. The Democratic Party has been hijacked by progressives and liberals and socialists.

The same is true with the Catholic Church, the Catholic Church of my upbringing has been hijacked also by people of similar ilk. And I think in all of the churches right now hidden behind masks, you will find that in all denominations you will have people of similar thinking.

I know you might say that no it's not possible. But I asked you to look up the One World Church that has already been built. And look at the Christian leaders that have joined that particular thing. And you will find high ranking members of nearly every Christian denomination sitting on that board.

There is no doubt in my mind that " WE " are the remnant. All of us together. That are conservative in our thinking, that have a core understanding of Christianity. That recognized Jesus as our Lord and savior. That understand that the gospels mean more to us than life because it is life. It is the Life of Christ.

I can't find an actual listing of the who's who of the One World Church. If you can provide a source/listing of it, it would be appreciated.

The issue with what I found in the article, would be having a person in a position of authority just because they are a scholar, to lead the Church teaching that is supposed to be fulfilling the guidance provided to us by Jesus Christ via the Holy Spirit. A scholar who does not believe in Him! Reminds me of the woman that was following Paul around shouting "These men are servants of the Most High God, who proclaim to you the way of salvation." I dare say, that the scholar may not be possessed of a spirit of divination, or be stating any lies as this poor woman was but intrinsically is much worse to other believers or even those growing in the faith then just grieving someone as that woman was to the Apostle Paul.

What does it speak of those who voted in this fashion, and where they stand in their faith, and in what their faith is based upon, if they have faith at all? I'm fully aware that there are leadership in many churches that do not even believe what they are saying, and accept all manner of perversion in its walls, but to have one appointed by a majority of leadership of a church who are supposed to be defenders of the faith makes me even sadder than finding individual Protestant churches to compare this against. Oh, we can speak to many, even to those who are leading churches who are perverse in their lifestyles, but when you talk of the sheer numbers being guided in teaching now by, I dare say an unbeliever? Makes it just another example that makes Catholicism no different, and as open to corruption as any other Jesus believing church, you'll find in this ever-darkening world.

The supposed space holder churches may become corrupt and fail, but as you say a remnant will persevere which is the Body of Christ, led by Jesus Christ as the Head, which is the Church, that will not fall.

You'll find a good article about it in the Vatican press. I know it's crazy, finding it in the Vatican press. I'll try to look it up. All you have to put into the computer these days is One World Church, and you'll get the Armaic Faith Center or something like that. What's a little bit crazy is that the multilateral church is in a country where you can't pronounce the name Jesus unless you want to get killed of course.

Morning Brother Bill,
I was looking more towards the Board Members from the different churches that you mentioned. I can find generic type of information on the One World Church, and even Armaic Faith Center, but that's about it. Which is something I've known about for a while now. I just never looked to its inner workings. Knowing specifically, which churches are involving themselves is what grabbed my interest.

Don't go to any trouble, trying to find it. I know how much of a pain research can be. :)

Just the fact that the one world church and its members are secretive about the participant list says a lot about whether the light or the darkness is behind it. Smaller biblical less influential local churches are less likely to be involved in such things.
