I asked and Jesus gave me
I seeked and Him i found
I knocked and He was there
And He turned my life around

I felt Him in my life
As He stepped into my soul
Forgiveness washed over me
He has cleansed and made me whole

I saw Him in the mirror
I saw Him in the glass
I reconised my Saviour
as I was walking past

The Lord is slowly changing me
So less of me is found
I want the Lord to stand out front
and me in the background
