It's amazing. One Christian accuses the other of ignoring the holy spirit. It's more a case of spiritual arrogance.

Not so. Its obvious that this person ignores the Holy Spirit because what he says directly contradicts what the Holy Spirit says.
When one Christians stops accusing the other of this nonsense maybe Christianity would grow.

Don't you think it better to celbrate God as often as possible. Or shall we do nothing, much like all of christianity today.
When I hear folks talk about hearing from the Holy Spirit or the like, I compare what they claim to know from the Holy Spirit to the written scripture states, which scripture the Holy Spirit inspired!
The holy spirit didn't inspire translations.

I doubt that one of reasonable intelligence would miss the point by reading any of the translations of Psalms 14:1. Even the variations in the NT Greek manuscripts are minor when it comes to Bible doctrines.
"The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They have corrupted themselves, and become abominable in their devices; there is none that does goodness, there is not even so much as one." (Psa 14:1 Brenton Greek Septuagint, 2nd century BC translated into English 1844)

Even if the "Lord's Day" is referring to a specific day of the week, it would more likely be pointing to the Sabbath. "Then he said to them, 'The Son of Man is lord of the sabbath.'” (Luke 6:5 NRSV) thus the Lord's Day.
However, I don't think it's referring to a day of the week at all, but rather to the "day of the Lord" which is pretty much what John's vision was about. That is the Day (a particular period of time) that John was present in, and that was when he was in the spirit - seeing the end days.

I find it odd how many are against rejoicing for the Birth of the Messiah the Precious Gift that the Almighty has Given to us..
An angel tells shepherds that a savior has been born in Bethlehem, and is joined by a multitude of angels who praise God. The angels sing, "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!".
I just like the fact that somewhere someone who is truly of the Lord is rejoicing in His birth n even those who walk in the flesh rejoice..
It use to be a day when people where a bit more kinder..

Actually the angels did not sing anything
"And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men." (Luke 2:13-14 KJV)
"All at once there was with the angel a great company of the heavenly host, singing praise to God: ‘Glory to God in highest heaven, and on earth peace to all in whom he delights.’" (Luke 2:13-14 REB)
"Suddenly a great army of heaven's angels appeared with the angel, singing praises to God: 'Glory to God in the highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom he is pleased!'” (Luke 2:13-14 GNB92)
Verse 14 is viewed as a chant, hymn or song; therefore it was sung by a chorus of angels. It has been understood this way for centuries, among those using the KJV.
Earlier than the KJV, John Calvin, commented on v13: "Here is a heavenly host, with one consent and one voice bearing testimony to the Son of God. What then would be our obstinacy, if we refused to join with the choir of angels, in singing the praises of our salvation, which is in Christ? Hence we infer, how abominable in the sight of God must unbelief be, which disturbs this delightful harmony between heaven and earth. Again, we are convicted of more than brutal stupidity, if our faith and our zeal to praise God are not inflamed by the song which the angels, with the view of supplying us with the matter of our praise, sang in full harmony.
