Let's share a testimony of praise and thanks daily

This past couple of weeks has been tempestuous even scary at times.

But the peace of the Lord has reigned glorious in my heart.

This can only be attributed to Jesus.
He indeed is our peace.

Thank You Jesus.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27

Awesome day today!!!!!!!

Had the opportunity to train an individual (believer thankfully :-) ) in the how the reports portion of our Learning Management System is designed and how to produce customized reports. He will in a couple of months become the head of this program for our State Agency. Training in this area of the program is not something I really feel comfortable doing, but PRAISE GOD it was actually a wonderful experience when every thing was said and done!! Alleluia!

Then my wife sends me an e-mail on a devotional/study that she is doing titled "To the one who feels unfinished?" and then asks me is this me? The Holy Spirit provided me the words to reaffirm what was being said, but in a different way which brought her joy. Letting her know that God is molding us to who He knows we should be and not how we see our faulty selves to be. So, focus less on how we see ourselves and more on who God is molding us to be. I didn't use this verse in reply to her, but it really speaks to me so much it's twice that I'm using it in the last 15 minutes!!! However, I really like how the NLT states this and is the one I will share with you, followed by the more widely accepted KJV :-)

"Now we see things imperfectly, like puzzling reflections in a mirror, but then we will see everything with perfect clarity. All that I know now is partial and incomplete, but then I will know everything completely, just as God now knows me completely." 1 Corinthians 13:12 NLT

"For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known." 1 Corinthians 13:12 KJV

Needless to say my wife's Spirit was lifted! And with everything that she is going through these days, every little bit more that she is able to seek and find of God is an increased blessing!

Thank-you for allowing me to share and also to thank-you Sister for having started this thread!

With the Love of Christ Jesus.

Praise the Lord!!

I am so thankful and relieved.

I had surgery last Thursday on the sole of my foot (ugh)

The pathology results were good with no further surgery needed and just annual check ups required!!

I would jump up and down with joy if my foot wasnt so sore

Praising the Lord that Ive been able to hop around since my surgery
And for cooler temperatures here in Australia right now

Would value prayer for fast healing in my foot that seems to have developed an infection
Praising and thanking for answer to this prayer in advance.

My oldest child Hannah was 18 yesterday.

She is a beautiful young lady and I would like to thank the Lord for the blessings she has bought me since her birth in 2001.

How a mother delights in her children

Praise the Lord

She is treading a worldly path at the moment....but I am confident that she will come back to Lord....her only hope and refuge.

I have so many testimonies that I could share but I will share this one now. My grandson, Caylan.... What a blessing he is! His mama and daddy (my son) aren't together-they were just teens when he was born. If I had time to do this post justice your hearts would join me for sure in celebration for this little guy's life. God knew him even before he was in his mama's young womb.. He is fearfully and wonderfully made. I believe that God will do mighty things through him... the enemy fights, he's cruel. Please celebrate his life with me but also please pray that the enemy's schemes against him and his daddy would fail and that God would get all of the glory for two lives made new and lived for His glory. I am attempting to attach a sweet video of Caylan that shows his little heart for God. *please note that my car is parked, we are waiting for his mama to pick him up...also He knows about the Holy Spirit as the 3rd person of the trinity now, just didn't mention Him here. Out of the mouths of babes... He has perfected praise...

hope this link works

I will pray for Hannah. Will you pray for my grown kids-Emalee and Clint? They, too, are living worldly lives-no church, and my daughter lives with her bf I hold to promises in His word - Isaiah 55:11 (His Word will not return void-paraphrase) Proverbs 22.6 (train up a child verse-although I did not always do right-but Jesus can redeem what I messed up) a personal promise I hang on to Psalm 27:13 personally-(I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.). I know His goodness is all around me everyday but I believe it refers to my kids, too. *God is working in me-I have been a “Pharisee” mom in the past... so sad I did not realize it then. I believe God will work it all out for good.

Thank you @kinderjen for your kindness in prayer

Yes I will join in prayer for Emalee and Clint.

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto Thy name, O Most High: To shew forth Thy lovingkindness in the morning, and Thy faithfulness every night,
Psalm 92:1-2

I had the opportunity to witness to two young ladies who came to my front door. Yep, they were Mormons. I was so glad to see them, and I asked if either was "born again"? They looked at me with watery eyes and did not know what to say to me. I told them how to get saved, so they smiled at me and were totally speechless. I also told them what the Apostle Paul said about angels......

Gal 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.

I told them to not believe a single word that came from an angel called "Moroni" which their entire religion is based on!!
They were very pleasant listeners, and never rebutted anything I said to them. After I closed my door, I felt like I just preached a sermon. They will never forget the day they came to my house!!!

My turn: since the beginning of this year I've been out of work and it's been a tough boring and unfulfilling time - lots of chasing potential and opportunities that have come to nothing.

Today I got a call that I've been accepted for an assignment that pays well, is with a good and reputable organisation and has a good level of seniority. I'm delighted! Really looking forward to getting stuck in to something meaningful and worthwhile again.

And even though it's been a difficult season, God has never let me lose hope in his faithfulness and goodness.

Praise the Lord

Thank you for sharing brothers @Curtis @Hekuran

It is uplifting to hear these accounts of the Lord's goodness and the opportunities He provided in your lives.

And for those morman young women may they be convicted and yearn for the truth.

And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He heareth us.
1 John 5:14

A praise report....

We keep a few chickens as pets.
We have recently been given 4 more very young chickens to add to our brood.

My younger children have fallen in love with them and each named one of the little chickens for themselves.

Last night when putting the chickens to bed, my husband noticed that one of the little ones was missing. (Oh what heartache and sadness would ensue if the children found out)

We went out searching by torchlight for a longtime. Our land is not a cultured lawn....but rough scrub and bush with lots of undergrowth areas.

The little bird was eventually found curled up like a cat on a laundry airer just outside the backdoor....and she was safely returned to her nesting area.

Praise the Lord!

It brought to remembrance the parable of the Lost Sheep and this beautiful old hymn

There were ninety and nine that safely lay
In the shelter of the fold,
But one was out on the hills away,
Far off in the dark and cold;
Away on the mountains wild and bare,
Away from the tender Shepherd’s care.

“Lord, Thou hast here Thy ninety and nine;
Are they not enough for Thee?”
But the Shepherd made answer: “This of Mine
Has wandered away from Me;
And although the road be rough and steep,
I go to the desert to find My sheep.”

But none of the ransomed ever knew
How deep were the waters crossed;
Nor how dark was the night which the Lord passed through
Ere He found His sheep that was lost.
Out in the bleak desert He heard its cry—
All bleeding and helpless, and ready to die.

Lord, whence are those blood-drops all the way
That mark out the mountain’s track?”
“They were shed for one who had gone astray
Ere the Shepherd could bring him back.”
“Lord, whence are Thy hands so rent and torn?”
“They’re pierced tonight by many a thorn.”

And all through the mountains, thunder-riven,
And up from the rocky steep,
There arose a cry to the gate of heaven,
“Rejoice! I have found My sheep!”
And the angels echoed around the throne,
“Rejoice, for the Lord brings back His own!

(Elizabeth Clephane 19th century hymn)
