Looking for Jesus according to Matthew

- Jesus is going to organize a kingdom of priests who belong to Yah.weh (dative)!

- The position of both is clearly established!

- Yah.weh is Jesus’ God and father!

- We get three elements in connection with Jesus!

- They are all connected to Jesus!

- They were supposed to look for Jesus’ kingdom!

- But it was not going to be easy!

- On the contrary!

- It would require hard work!

- In fact, through tribulation and perseverance!

- Now when we look at the modern time, it seems to be the opposite!

- In fact, today, there is materialism!

- In a way, we could say no more tribulation, no more kingdom, no more perseverance, nothing!

- Find the mistake!

- And I don’t speak about poor countries where people have to fight for survival!

- But that is another story!

- So John was in prison on the island of Patmos but he took advantage of the situation to write the book of Revelation!

- What a difference with our modern time!

- Jesus’ disciples didn’t have any time to lose!

- Completely different from today!

- The question is: how do you want to get into the new promised land if there is no tribulation and no perseverance?

- Then we get the word of God and the testimony about Jesus!

- Two different elements which are complementary!

- They are both interconnected!

- You can’t get one if you don’t get the other!

- In the same way, you reject one part of the Bible, you reject the other part!

- If you don’t pay attention to both parts, you reject Yah.weh

- You reject Yah.weh, you reject Jesus and they will reject you!

- You give, you receive!

- You don’t do anything, you will get nothing!

- And I don’t speak about tomorrow, I speak about today, I speak about now, I speak about every moment of your life!

- I wanted to mention this verse (Revelation 1:11) because in very few translations it is written “I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last” but it doesn’t exist in the original!
